Hey specs, hello fellow coaches!

The amazing, the one and only NBFL is in playoffs now (you shall not miss a single game!). That's why most coaches are looking for new talent that should help them get to next season's playoffs. Draftees come from the NCBB, the national college bloodbowl league. This year we have record breaking talent to choose from. Please note, that any injuries are cured during offseason thanks to spells from the lore of life by some Slann and high elves - cant put a foot into the meatgrinder NBFL without being 100% healthy! Btw, most draftees drop some spp’s and in some cases, also a skill as they transition from ncbb to nbfl (that’s why player link and draft info are not always identical).

Here my top 5 draft prospects, ignoring who may be on the clock and what needs this coach's NBFL team would have, because the draft order is not 100% certain yet:

1) Elthor the Evil, NOTRE DAME: Blodge-STRENGTH+2, 57 spp. Skilled.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?op=view&player_id=9947170
Yes that’s right, this suberb elf doesn’t graduate as a senior, but as a self-proclaimed LEGEND. Such confidence is always good news – the bad news is that this evil player will end up in the NBFL equivalent of the Cleveland browns (whoever gets to pick first) and that might not be very good for the players health and long term carreer plans… I got a taste of this players capability myself in our faceoff in the NCBB and he is indeed a pain in the ass, making his TD, a comp. and just denying the sack due to sheer strength: https://fumbbl.com/p/match?id=3941937

2) Stefon Diggs, MARYLAND: B+Ag+SH+MA, 75 spp. Line/Skilled.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?player_id=10927052
The all-time-record-holder in rushing yards rushed his team to the national championship against my pumas, ffs. https://fumbbl.com/p/match?id=3983411 Diggs suffered multiple mb-tackle-hits during the title game and didn’t just survive them, but he stayed on the field and continued to lead his team, with the ball in his ice-cold hands! Any team has a chance with a ball handler like that.

3) Russl Wilsn, UNAM: B+SH+AG+MA, 75 spp. Skilled. https://fumbbl.com/p/player?player_id=11598223
My all-time-record-holder in TD’s choked in the championship game as he feinted from the first hit they landed on him in the previously mentioned championship-game. Although this tainted his reputation a bit, he may still deceive an uninformed coach into an early pick. May he cause endless frustration to his new headcoach with his attitude and ko.-faking.

4) Cole Brownholtz, HAWAII: Acc, AG+, S.Throw, Strong Arm, 65 spp. Skilled.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?player_id=11576167
And this is how I get to learn the news that the Warrielfs were retired. What a shame. It was a nice pro-elf-team. My pumas confronted a sophomore – Cole Brownholtz and it was a tough game back then. Cole is the perfect thrower. Whether he goes 4th or not in this draft depends on the nature of the team on the clock – if they think of throwing the ball sometimes, they should definitely get Brownholtz.

5) Maximiliano Hunger, UNAM: B, MB, G, T, 58 spp. Strength.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?player_id=11598220
The only draftee in the top 5 mock-draft who isn’t a stat freak. But developed, solid blockers are hard to come by, specially in this year’s draft-class. This Blocker in particular has all 4 mandatory blocking skills and he is the silent hero of his team’s success.

I hope you like my top 5! Let me know if i let some awesome talent out and post your own top 5 or top 10 here, if you wish!

This will be fun! Let's see it continue. There will be north of 50 picks this season!

I wanna see where you slot my boys, but it won't be all that high cuz they're not sexy. Some of them (Lance Louis, Herm Edwards, and Freddie Keiaho) will probably fall to good teams, but probably won't make it out of the first round. Me, I got an eye on Catalina Eddy, to replace J. Austin, but he's hardly my top pick.

Once JR finalizes the list he'll put it on the google spreadsheet and then one of us will hopefully convert it to something that works in BB code.

Thanks, T. If you wanna clean that up, you might clear off the # seasons and past SPP. It'll be more readable that way.

The lack of bigs in this season's draft doesn't help with the possibilities of figuring out where players could go. Sad

yeah. No nice big guys and btw., this might be one of the last few graduation classes with a nice colection of strength players! Future looks dark in this regard because in the entire non-aq division of the ncbb (non-aq is the division of newcomers) there is only 2 single team with 2 strength - player - slots. rest is elven BS n stuff...

PD: this is no mock draft. others may speculate with a finished draft order in hand about who might pick which player. This list here is just to learn to know what magnificient specimen are waiting for their call by a PROFESSIONAL bb-team. Wink

I will present my #6-10 soon (i hope to have time for that tomorrow).

If I can keep him alive next draft or the one after should have at least 1 big with Blodge which will be a nice get for someone.

There is a still 4 leezard, 1 orc, 1 necro, and 1 CD in the NCBB though. So that's the potential of 32 strenght players between those teams. So not as bleak as you think.

Yeah, lets hope they all continue. Cause future is painted elven Green, Pink, and light blue. Razz
