Once upon a time, nearly nine years ago, two geniuses got drunk and decided to give FUMBBL a try. They just wanted to play each other with their favoured Thriller build, couldn't figure out a way to do this without setting up a tournament, and a group to host the tournament... and so DIBBL was born. With the first tournament being Crap Bowl.
Crap Bowl X

Ruleset. Only teams in the following builds can play in the Crap Bowl. Teams must be brand spanking new, or have clipped the ticket in a previous Crap Bowl.
The legal team builds:
Thriller: Necromantic team with 1 Werewolf & 0-12 Zombies
Thraller: Vampire team with 0-16 Thralls (no rerolls)
Mummy Returns: Undead or Khemri teams with 1 Mummy/Tomb Guardian & 0-16 Skeletons.
Hobgoblin United: Chaos Dwarf team with 0-16 Hobgoblins (no rerolls)
12 Monkeys: 0-12 Bonobos (no rerolls)
One big gnob: Ogre team with 0-16 gnoblars and 1 ogre
Hobbiton Heroes: Halfling team with 0-16 Halflings plus Puggy inducement option
All Aboard: Pump wagon with 0-16 snotlings
Chainsaw Massacre: Goblins and Looney, with Nobbla inducement option
Mutant Gobsnot: 1-12 underworld goblins plus 0-6 underworld snotlings
Bruised Ball: Black Orc team with 0-12 Bruisers plus Fungus inducement option
Leper Colony: Nurgle team with 0-12 Rotters plus Rotspawn
Feather duster: Imperial Noble team with 0-12 linemen and a thrower
Khorne Nuggets: Khorne team with 0-16 linemen (no rerolls)
Notes:
1. No stars may be induced unless mentioned in the build rules. No other inducements (e.g. Bugman or mercenaries) may be set foot on the pitch.
2. A spiked ball shall be used.
3. Wizards are allowed. Zap is the only spell Wizards can use
4. You read this far and didn't realise it's a NZ comp? Only those who can commit to a NZ timezone prime time kickoff (7pm-9pm) need apply.
5. Ag3+ St3 teams have been nerfed. They cannot have rostered or induced rerolls. Leader rerolls, pro reroll and kickoff event rerolls are allowed.
6. Thriller build has been nerfed. No more than 12 zombies.
7. BB20 ruleset
Got an old Crap Bowl team under the BB16 ruleset? Well there's good news, you can polish a turd. Make a new team of the same race in BB20. Give two player the same names in the old team. I'll weave my admin magic and you get to have them on the new team (I'll dock your treasury to pay for his cost though) |
