Aww man, Ramchop gets the good parking spot.
Seriously though, fantastic result. I'm positively chuffed. But since we all get to benefit from the work Ramchop does... it does make one wonder who the real winners are here. Ramchop would seem to be the physical manifestation of the credo to keep things positive. (What? He gets priority access to the Keurig too?!? Whew, at least I'm positive we won't conflict... totally different time zones!)
I still think it's great that the site is set up in such a way that it allows folks, even relative noobs like me, to contribute in positive ways to the community.
I am gonna have to start keeping a list of folks to nominate next year and watch open forum threads more closely thru the holidays, since I managed to mostly miss the nominating thread. |

Thanks everyone. That poll was crazy exciting. 3 coaches tied on 17 votes moments before Throweck's premature annunciation.
I think the nomination thread is a really good read. There are heaps of people doing wonderful things for fumbbl. And don't forget the admins and Christer who would win by a landslide every year if they were eligible. Reading through that thread I can't help thinking the voting was rigged in some way, the poll was started the day after I posted the Christmas gifs! Did somebody move Christmas?
razmus clearly hasn't sat in the same room as me when I've been on the receiving end of a monumental Nuffling. Ask mushoomy, he'll tell you how "positive" I can be. If anything, I've learned how to hold off hitting the "Enter" key after I've typed what I'm really thinking. 
Anyway, I feel honoured to have been given the title Fumbbler of the year. Fumbbl is a great hobby which I enjoy immensely. Thank you all. |
