Hello. I'm all new to the Fumbbl universe. I have a question that you'll properbly think is redicules.

I can't get any opponent to play against me. Neither in ranked or unranked (haven't tryed the rest)

Iv'e installed Java and Mirc but when I start a game (either as clint or server) nothing happens Sad

Have you read the User Guide? It's hard to say from your post exactly what you've been trying to do...have you been hosting direct connect? With a Fumbbl proxy? You mean you can't get an opponent to agree to a game, or if they do when you open the client they don't show up?

I think you mean that you open up chat and start the client but no one just joins you and starts playing, right?

Well, you need to figure out who to play first and give them your information so that they can join you. Look through the team descriptions that bowlbot is spitting out and try to find an equally new team to play against. Then just chat with the owner of that team (either click on his/her name and open up a private chat or just ask in the channel - either one is fine) and see if they're willing to go at it. THEN you give them the information for your host (your IP address and port or what proxy and the proxy name) and THEN they join your game. If someone else is hosting, then they should give you their IP address or proxy and you join their game.

Any clearer? Did I misunderstand your question?

Can anyone tell me how to play a game, ive been having trouble with the chat sessions: i see only two people, me and "harvey", what am i doing wrong here?

Probably on the wrong network. Check what it is you're connecting to. Should be irc.fumbbl.com

First I have to say, that I don't understand irc-world that good. So can anyone help me to get this right?

I downloaded X-chat and installed it just as it says in User Guide->Install chat.

And I connected to AfteNet server, as stated in the guide. And when joined #fumbbl, there's only me and this Harvey. So something's not right.

Then I tried to connect to irc.fumbbl.com server, but it says "Unknown host. Maybe you misspelled it?". I typed that irc.fumbbl.com in the server list where you can add networks.

So does anyone understand what am I doing wrong here? And if so, please tell me what to do in a simple way Smile User Guide isn't any good for me, I did everything as supposed. At least I think so.
