Greetings everyone.
Origins Game Fair is still on as of this moment. I will be certain to keep this updated if that changes.

That being said I'd like to take a moment to point out some things which are a little different in the rule set this year.

Please ask any questions that come to mind! If you've thought of it someone else likely also needs an answer.

- Apothecaries
The NAF has taken an official stance on the state of Apothecaries in the Tournament scene.
Apothecaries were deemed a 'core rule' and as such cannot be altered.
They previously were assumed to work automatically. This is no longer the case.

- Piling On
The often controversial player Skill "Piling-On" WILL cost a team re-roll to use.

- Tier Shuffling
This will bring some measure of either happiness or sadness to some of you.
The team Tiers have been reviewed and shuffled up a bit to more closely reflect specific teams' strengths, weaknesses, and performance observed over the last few years.
Changes were applied to :
Orcs were moved up into Tier1
Chaos Pact moved up into Tier2
Daemons of Khorne moved down into Tier2

- Spike! updates.
I know there's a lot of 'Ooo, Shiney!' out there but only teams approved by the NAF Review in November 2019 are valid for this year.
This means :
New Halflings are IN/OK.
New Lizardmen and Ogres are NOT.

- Inducements
This should come as no surprise to the veterans but for those joining us for the first time this is a helpful reminder:
Only the inducements listed in the tournament rules packet can be purchased.
(In)famous coaching staff are considered inducements and as such are NOT available for tournament play.
Please note that this also applies to Team-Specific inducements and special rules listed in Spike!

so it looks like I should have just waited another day or two..

Origins 2020 has officially postponed Origins until October: 7th-11th.
GAMA states that more details will be made available as determined.

It sounds as though everything is intended to be run as scheduled...just five months later.
I will keep this posting updated.

Thank you.

'Bumbus Bowl 4, 2020 Has been cancelled.
I had been holding out on making a decision on this in the hopes of regrouping and pulling this off later in the year.
The current(ongoing) state of things combined with other factors(finding a new venue, necessary safety measures, etc)
makes pulling it all together for a Tournament where everyone can have a great time just doesn't seem possible this year.

I apologize for not being more decisive sooner and look forward to seeing everyone in 2021.
Thank you.
