I'd say 3 was ample, play the other divs (and in the other divisions too)

currently you can have over 30 teams,ladder and faction are the same format as ranked so play them.DX is an alternative variation and imo still good,
I agree with Grum about taking back down to 3 teams in r

well, if anything, i'd like the "5 games played before you can start a new team"-limit to be removed in R.

I've been considering Unranked seriously - Decent stunty teams, fun experimentals...not like Ranked has any credibility with cherry picking.

I play in all the divisions and have 30 teams at the moment (although with 1 more Stunty match ill have my 5th there as well) I see no reason for more ranked slots because I barely have the time to play the teams i have

I think we have a nice balance at the moment.
Reducing Ranked teams to 3 would make me play Fumbbl less not convert me to Unranked.

Ranked is the only league where I can dependably find an opponent quickly. I realise this is due to player numbers.
I also realise that most people only play Ranked because they are less likely to come up against a team that is cheesed due to playing against Flings or coaches who aren't playing competitively.

If you want people to play Unranked make it more attractive instead of making Ranked worse.

This idea of restricting Ranked makes the popular part of fumbbl worse to boost the unpopular parts.
There is a good reason they are this way - I would like at least an attempt at competitive play which Unranked does not supply.
The game numbers of Ranked versus Unranked show most people agree.

It would be sad if you cut off your nose to spite your face by making the part of fumbbl that attracts players worse.

What is your reasoning for 3 slots? Force people to play a league they have freely chosen not to play?
Sure fumbbl is voluntarily run, I appreciate it, donate to fumbbl and respect your right to make decisions.
I do not think it is either the players or fumbbl's best interests to reduce Ranked slots to 3.

People don't play Ranked to piss off the admins - they do it because the other choices are weak if you want casually available games which still attempt to have a competitive playing environment.

Instead of cutting off your nose to spite your face why not improve Unranked or communicate its benefits better?

I like to play Unranked to play for tournaments, and it works well, so I m satisfied with it.

Ranked permits to play quickly so I'm satisfied with it too.

Stunty is fun so I'm satisfied also.

I do not play ladder.

I'm less satisfied with dx and faction.

I simply have no oppenents in dx (too high TR/str) or guys saying "I do not play ogres" and I believe that some coachs transfers their team to div x at high TR to avoid effects of ageing so that this division in fuller of high TR teams.

Faction demands too much. Beetween 2 and 8 games in two weeks, that's a lot so I stopped playing Faction.

R is fun to play you find many people to play
U is less easy to find people but there are the Tournaments. Now if one could have more tournament for teams with TR > 100 (i.e. new teams) that would be MUCH more nicer!
L I am trying to play there, but it is difficult to find opponents.
DivX what is that? Sorry not team so strong... Smile
Faction is fun but again you have a bit of problem finding people to play there but is not a problem like.
All in all maybe 5 teams are good for all fumbbl players but more teams are a problemfor those who have more interests

I don t understand the trouble to have more slot in R.... let s play people like they want!
For me the trouble is, i don t want to retire team but with TR > 200 it begins harder to find game so i want to create some new... i can t.
