Freddie Flintoff, Bull Centaur for 'It's Just not Cricket' died today in his teams first match, on turn 4 of the first half to a single dice block by a zombie.

The team have retired in mourning.

Sometime there is a Kharma about a team...

From the slagging off, 'wise' words of wisdom i've received and 'good' advice given after retiring 2 WE teams straight after each other because of 1st-half RIP's in BOTH teams 1st games, you starting a thread like this will undoubtedly end up in the same villification i recieved...

Let me start:
1. you are crap if you retire a team 1st game 'coz of a RIP...
2. you should continue, if you don't you are crap.
3. it's crap to retire after 1 game.
4. erm,
5. that's it.
6. you're still crap.

I know i'm crap my record proves it.

A CD team that wloses it's prime asset in the first half of the first game is even more so.

however i don't really care if people think such things about me, i play for <get ready for it> F.U.N and i would not have had fun trying to recover from that loss.

One of the magnificent things about Open leagues is that you can do this, if you want. No need to berate him for it. Everyone can enjoy the game their own way.

Told ya...apparently if you decide being 70/100k down with effectively a starting line-up isn't worth the 15 minutes you've actually played with the team, you have a small penis & withered testicles.

Hammer, you made the right choice imo. If anyone calls us lame, then ask them to buy a re-roll on team creation and give it away. Stupid? Of course it is. Same with 1-game teams...
