Best High Elves - AV8 on AG4 with High MA makes for a great team.
Runners-Up maybe Orcs - Durability, along with many positionals
Personal prefference Humans - Adaptability, play to the opp's weakness |

for me experienced darkelves seem to be the best team over all
with av8 and ag4, they are ready for the best defense play of all teams... |

I'd put Chaos Dwarves at best defence (mostly due to Bull Centaurs). All Elf teams have a notoriously hard time cracking a solid cage.

Really depends on the format of play. In fumbbl [r] with unlimited # of games the high av teams benifits from durability. Around tr150 elves are great until they break, while Norse is a really strong startup team for short tourneys. Needles to say the team is as good as the coach makes it... |

My personal preference goes to undead as they have a real good starting line-up which you can adapt to short/long term play and due to decent armour and regen, they are the most durable of all teams imo... Off course, I've always been lucky with regen so that might have something to do with it but if you play em right, it doesn't matter that your ghouls might drop like flies... just score with your wights and the occasional skeleton/zombie while the others have plenty of strength left to bash around a bit. Oh and, the 2 Mummies with strength 5 and general skill acces might have something to do with their superiority too... The only real problem with undead is: what to do with the loads of cash you'll have by the time you reach tr170?
Oh and "Best Team"? There is no best team which is better then every other team. Else we would all be playing that team 90% of the time and the other teams just for fun in unranked... A team is as good as his coach (given a bit of luck on skill-rolls and aging) |

I think that it depends of the kind of tournament that ur playing... for short run perhaps Undeads but with some luck, at the beggining extreme teams could be better, like Dwarves or Orcs for stalling, and WEs or Skavens for run run run...
In the long run, IMHO, DEs, HEs and Chaos could be the best teams, but higher av teams could have chances to build a nice team too...
For Closed leagues, basher teams use to survive and finally get the better teams and win, if its not a short league i mean... or in more than 1 or 2 seasons
For resurrection, Undeads, Dwarves and Necros are the best INMO
But funniest team for me are the skavens  |

my first love dwarves, and i still love them, some of the fun times and stories ive had form dwarf games, but that is the way it is you meet a team you play them some fun stuff happens and they always hold a place in your heart even if they are not 'better' than everyother team |

I maybe a bit biased, but my all time favorate team is the orcs, you cant beat them for durability, and seeing as i still have an ogre in my fumbbl team from when the rules were changed aaaaaages ago, they are likly to remain there! |

Ill Say this. Lizards are my current favourites.
They are one of the strongest teams. with 6 str 4 dudes + a str 5 Krox
They are one of the fastest with MV 8 to MV6
And they have reasonable development prospects. But the best thing is you have the wildest games around. Because you movement gives you total flexibility while your ball handling suffers. It's the craziest matches Ive ever done. Awesome fun. |
