For all people interested in a fun time.....start a freak show. Travel around the land and cause as much havoc as possible. This is all you need......

11 gobbos
2 trolls
a few rr

...Now add to this the FF nine..... this will prove very important.

You should have a large sum of money left over. This is good. Keep it.

The plan:

Most starting gobbo teams are large affairs to protect against being beat senseless. This is a mistake. Goblins have the cheapest and most varied tricks up their sleeves in the form of star players.

You just buy the player before you play and ta da! That's it! Now to everyone saying that this is concession worthy behavior, look into the LRB........ Hiring freebooters and stars is a part of the prematch sequence. Besides........... aren't they called "secret weapons"...?

Only have ten players ready to suit up...... just use a gobbo freebooter for the match and save the extra 20k. The point is you need the roster spaces left open for some "talent". spend away but save some. The point of this team is no one knows just what is in store. Bombs vs. Dwarves.... Chainsaws vs. Elves...... Wizard vs. anyone. Be creative.

Team management:

This team is actually built for the long haul in a wierd fashion. Its effectiveness is not represented within the tr.........

Only thing being added to your tr is the money in your bank. Don't bother ever having more then 13 players on your roster at any time. A single gobbo with a bunch of skills might not be as effective to your team as a few gobbos with one good skill each. Sure Hands, Kick (first skill if doubles is rolled!), and even Leader are just as important for winning as Dirty Player (if you got two of the aforementioned.... grab DP also!). Just do not load up on creating a bunch of dirty players. That's what your weapons are for.....

Speaking of.... weapons are great fun for the unsuspecting opponent. Mix it up! A fanatic on defense really pisses off most cage teams. Amazons are also great targets because they are not particularly fast, and you need all the blocks you can get against them. Chainsaws are pretty self explanatory..... great against dwarves especially..... those slayers and runners are your biggest problems really. Tackling Linos are best left the bombs in that event.

The strategy is the fun part! You have a team that's utterly unpredictable! Flying gobbos (reminder.... troll star can throw with team rr's...) make great offenses possible. Imagine elven blitzers dodging through two or three diving tacklers just to get the near the ball. you don't even need to have many skills.

If playing this team... you should should be bound by some form of fair conduct as a player (sure as hell not with the team!). Just inform in your bio your desire to open the freak show. That way some pansy won't scream to find Morg in your backfield at set up.

Also.... even more interesting....... PLAY ANYONE! Handicaps are nice and those teams that can brutalize you (read dwarves) are not an issue a few bombs or a wizard can't solve. This is a team built to winning. Great concept for 100 tr tournies and unranked.

I will update this when this concept is fully tested. Feel free to follow the tour:

This is a team that has an easily managed tr........ it would never go above 140.......

Just wait till I enter some tournies! Might place them in a tr 200 tourney and watch. This team is ALL about winning!

How much cash do you expect to earn each match?
30K for Fungus or Scrappa
40K for Nobbla or Bomber
75k for Ripper Bolgrot
that's hard to get every match

When your FF is nine and your tr is low..... the modifier alone is worth a good 40K. This team has had good success after two games....especially in the money factor. I am able to keep my opponents guessing who will show (wizard, apoth, an extra rr, ripper, a few freebooter gobbos, weapons....) and since everything is added for one game only, my tr is kept low. I anticipate this team to have a tr of around 130 after ten games.

150k to spend on the next match...you can afford a LOT of surprises on that kind of income! lol
