The long anticipated restarting of the WSL is finally here. I apologize to all for the delays, but unforeseen event's on both the commissioner's "real" lives managed to delay this as long as unreasonably possible.
BUT NOW WE ARE BACK. Congratulations to all the "old-timers" for sticking through these troubled times. And Welcome to all the new faces.
The new schedule is going to have each team play everyone in thier conferance, once, and an undecided number of out of conferance games (schedule is not complete.) Not necessarily in that order, though. No two teams will play each other more than once. Teams entering the play offs will consist of teams that have the best overall record, and best "in-conferance" records. i.e. If the schedule goes on for 15 games, it is possible for a team that has only won 4 games to make the play-offs, if those 4 wins were vs the other teams in thier conferance.
More details to be woked out by the commissioners.
Weekly schedule's will be posted every Monday, and games are to be played by the following monday. The Schedule will be an addition to this post, as to keep from poluting the forum with hundreds of WLS threads. So check here every monday. If this (for whatever reason) is not possible, both parties need to PM Asperon Thorn the reason why and what corrective course is planned (I hope we are all adults, here, and would prefer that coaches can work it out. If not, then I or Tamper Magnitude will use our collective virtual muscle and do something mean.)
I am also starting a new Contact Times thread, please post your contact times (again, for old-timers.)

Coldstone Cold Beers 1 vs. Chaotic Mad Dawgs 1 After the Mad Dawgs completely mowed down the Beers, in the first game, they were taken completely off-gaurd by the Beers aggressive play in this match up. Some tough defense, by The Dawgs, secured the tie.
Vs. Self Righteous Coneheads. This cowardly team got out of thier first game by way of rain, Will they try it again against bitter elven rivals? |

The Blotters had 6 impressive warm-up matches resulting in 3 deaths against. Can they beat the highest TR team in their first ever Wastelands League game? Or will these wood elves increase the body count even further?
The answer was no to both questions.
2. Gurlge's Blotters 1 Val Halen and the Silver Wings 1
Salivating Dali is looking forward to locking horns with Yngwie Malmsteen, the Wings Minotaur. Can Dali ride the bull to a Blotters victory?
The answer was a resounding no. Although Dali was salivating at the opportunity, he got smacked by a norsemen who stopped him from scoring. He also collapsed while sprinting to stop the Wings first score. But worse of all he wrangled with the Minotaur for whole second half and never brought him down once and was eventually knocked out of the match by the minotaur.

K, after 6 casualities (first 5 in the first 6 turns) by some Ogres I am forced to retire my team and leave the Wasteland League for good. There are too many utterly broken Basher Teams in divX to compete with an AV 7 team. That's absolutely pointless IMHO. Like playing Flings in an all Dwarf league.

During the post match celabration the Bunnies announced the signing of a life long contract with the infamous Troll Slayer Buggs.
The captain of the team Dog Boy had this to say

Bah, Mirascael left cause of one miss next game and one niggeler... (both wardancers) if he saved his death player with the apo. sure bad luck, but it happens! BH casualties are really not that bad..
Thanks for staying such a long time in this long lasting league Mirascael!
With capitan not online for about one month.. I guess we are stuck again... are we going to disband the league? or ignore quiters? |

we might be able to replace these two quickly and save the league...now if we have more go away then we are in trouble...we just need one add this week and get another with 6 games by next week and we are in business... |
