Greez Bay Orkers 3 vs 0 Duende Blanco

http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=76886

Taking a page out of Baskhus's playbook, put the ball into the hands of the ST 4 guys and let them rumble stumble into the endzone. A bad kick made this very easy, and a few bouncy balls from blitzing the elf ball carriers, put the ball into black orc hands three times. hence a 3-0 game.

Torconto Masher Leafs 0 - 2 Colonial Marine Corp

Go Greez Black Orker Blockers! Smile
funny thing here is my troll slept for half of the first half, and my bull centaurs could never pick up the freakin ball! So in both halves, my gobs quickly grabbed up the ball in time to barely run for an 8th round goal. (Thank Nuffle for no messy GFI's with them) The whole game was pile up after pile with ball always skipping around just out of reach. It was ok though, gave the guys a chance to rumble Smile

(daSkanker sure knows how to put the pressure on my single hob running for the endzone. He definitely knows how to stay in the game)

Blue Mountain Gliders 0 - 3 Roaming Rampaging Rapids

http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=79133

The outnumbered and outclassed Blue Mountain elves lost again, this time against well coached amazons. Will the Gliders ever recover from their early losses, or are they doomed to be underdogs forever? Wink

Razor Claws 2 - 0 Slítandi

http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=81308

With a pitch riot in both halves, this was a short, but violent game. Overall it was fairly close, but what tipped the scales in the Skaven's favour was the physical damage they wreaked on the opposition. The Norsemen were brought down to 7 men at one stage and were unable to stop the swarming numbers of Skaven pouring over them. The rematch next season will definitely be messy.

Dragon princess of gondolin 1 - For a few dollars we play 2

http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=81675

In a great match with the dwarfs playing like elfs. Any team could have won the match but the dwarfs were lucky in the last turn of the first half whilst the elfs werent lucky on the last play of the second half. This match was one of this that makes the people go to the stadiums (with stones cause there were a pitch invasion at the beginning of the second half with the result of six dwarfs down but none of them miraculously out of the field).

UnEarthed Arcanum 2 - 0 Green Bay Orkerz

A very tough fought battle. Unlucky for the pack near the end only had 7 players on the field.

The league has almost come to a standstill (Wasteland-Syndrome).

Since this league is only about qualifying and getting a competitive team for the NBBA PL anyhow, I therefore suggest to skip the schedule and allow each team to play one game against each other team whenever they want, ignoring the schedule (you still may only play against each team once, of course).

What do you think?

I'm not really surprised that the league is at a standstill now. With summertime and vacations taking over peoples lives instead of Bloodbowl some delays are inevitable.

I've been trying my hardest to get in contact with Stilgar, Jubaal, Rockfrog, Calvin and Bunnypuncher since I've been allowed to play them - with zero results. I never see them online and they don't reply to PM's... (hmm, not sure I PM'ed Bunny though).

All I'm saying is that I would like to see more life in the tournament, but I think that's more likely to happen when people get back from vacation, there are already plenty of matches you can play if you want (and can locate an opponent).

PM. I'll be going away on vacation myself on Sunday, and won't be back until the following Monday (8 days camping)....

Indur with fairness I did reply to your PM almost immediately, saying that I was awaiting completion of my other games which I bvelieve are supposed to be played in order. I am still awaiting a reponse from Bunnypuncher who I am due to play next despite many PMs.

In such a large league that's quite impossible actually. As the group info says, you can proceed with the next round if you can't get in contact with your current opponent for the scheduled days and postpone those games. Otherwise, leagues wouldn't work (and this is true for RL-leagues as well).

Sorry Jubaal, I guess I forgot that message. Embarassed

But as Mirascael points out it's really impossible to play all matches in the "proper" order, as some coaches just never turn up, loose interest or loose their internet connections...

I'm alright with play the matches in any order. It's pretty much what I ended up doing anyway. Tecnically speaking, the whole schedule should be available for play pretty soon, so, I really don't see much problem with it.

It's alot of work for Mirascael to manually administer 2 leagues. I'm all for any solution that achieves the goals of the FL (prepping for PL) and makes Mirascael workload a little lighter.
