Can I ask if my current halfling team is allowed to join? I have played a few games since the 1st of July, would these count, or is it only games played since being accepted that count?

Thanks. Sounds like good fun.

Less than a fifth of the way into the season and the LoHF has already had over 50 scoring performances from its brave teams.

*56 games played - 21 goblin, 19 flings, 6 all-Sauri, 4 Goblin Cheater, 4 Fairy, 2 skeleton - all versus non-stunty opposition.

*72 touchdowns scored with 92 against.

*An impressive 24 little stunties have given their lives for the greater good, with 9 goblins (including 3 cheaters), 8 flings and 7 faries dying.

The current LoHF w/l/d record stands at 20/06/30.

Team Performance So Far

Most Suicidal - Mitzufuss' Pirates of Pie with 7 unrecovered deaths in 4 games (ouch)

Bravest - Shintyboy's Cups and Cakes playing up an impressive 51 points of TS

League Leader - Kroxy's Demolers with 211 points and one 'slam' already completed

Update

The League of Heroic Failure has its first Grand Slam Team.

Congratulations are due to R_Spiskit, whose Ace at Being Rubbish have managed the impressive feat of playing every non-stunty LRB race, as well as two Chaos Pact teams.

Managing not to live up to their name, these plucky flings have a 8/2/12 LoHF record and are the current league leaders with 827 points.

Can any other LoHF teams match this feat?
Time will tell.

And remember non-LoHF teams: ***Join Us***

I have to ask would a team like this be admitted? It's based on skeleton only, but with the thought that "wights are skeletons too".

Update

At the half-way point and things have been impressive in the LoHF's very first season.
With a mightily brave 156 games played, the facts stand thus:

*19 teams have taken part, spanning 7 races.

*191 touchdowns have been scored with 250 conceded.

*A tragic 82 brave little fellows have died (0.52 unapothed, unregenerated RIPS permatch) in the course of the season.

*These heroes have outcas'd their opponents 35 times (over 20% of the time).

*We average playing up 30TS per match, although 3 matches have been over 100TS (125, 123 and 107 respectively).

*10 teams have a positive or equal win/loss ratio.

The current LoHF w/l/d record stands at 54/24/78. That's roughly a 50% loss, 50% win/draw ratio. Whoo us.

Team Performance So Far

Most Suicidal - Redfish's Ol' Bleached Bones for this impressive regen-failing match (8/10 fails).

Bravest - Teg's USC's 127TS difference just edges out Ploplo25's 4 Garcon's 125TS.

League Leader - R_Spiskit's Ace at Being Rubbish with 1062 points and one 'Grandslam' already completed

Most Successful - Duke Tyrion's Skragz with an impressive 6/4/1 record and 19 TDs scored for just 7 against.

Damn, can't believe I missed this one first time round.

My skel team, Blackfyre's Lost Remnants have been doing this for ages. (As did their predecessors, the Leftovers).

Hopefully the fact that they'll be competing in the next OCCS season won't exclude them. Please send them an invite if they're eligible.

Oh, and you really should have an award for the highest 'average cas against' over the course of the season, as well as for deaths. I love records like that (as my teams' bios make clear).

EDIT: If they aren't able to play, let me know and the team can be reformed once more. 'Blackfyre's Heroic Failures' is a team name that fits right in with their history anyway. Twisted Evil

In this league I'm having a lot of fun!! Laughing
Thanks very much Mighty Ren!! Great job! Wink

I have only some suggestions:
Add a link to this topic in the league page will be useful
Add the number of match played in the current season near the score in the team table can help to know the team progression
Add the date of the last day of the current season in the league page

These are not so important but can help a newcomer Embarassed as me Very Happy

And most important... HAVE FUN!!!

Shinan yes, Azurus, yes.

Teg, done - except for the match played next to score. It would be nice but I can't alter any data in that table (aside from the scores) as it's Fumbbl controlled.

Anyone with any other suggestions, let me know, and I'll try and implement them.

The 4 garcons have completed their frst GRAND SLAM.
After a rather bloody game against Khemris (6 BH, 3SI and a death).
For once Georges didn't die, he was even the only man standing of the team at turn 12 when the khemris scored their second touchdown. Alone during 4 turns he couldn't do more than picking the ball and almost reached the half of the pitch before losing the ball Smile

Anyway, thanks for this league mighty ren and now we are aiming for the title Wink ... And we want to get back the bravest game award, lets find a TS 250 team Very Happy

I have a question:
When I can play against Chaos Pact, Old World, Lustria?
I have to wait to complete the slam (1 Group A, 2 Group B, C, D, E)?

Or I can play with these teams as many times as I want?

I have challenged a Chaos Dwarf with more than +120 of TS and he called me cherrypicker Shocked
He said that so many handicaps "f***ed" his team... can you give your opinion?

You can play one PACT team (either Old World, Lustrian or Chaos Pact) per slam. You don't have to play it at the end of the Slam (you could play it at the start if you want), as long as you only play one.

They are just like any of the other (a-e) Slam groups. The only difference is (because there are supposedly less of them, because they only exist in Unranked, and because they're allegedly 'broken') you don't have to play them.

And if someone called you a cherry-picker for challenging up 120TS with stunties versus Chaos Dwarves (arguably the best Bloodbowl team, especially versus stunties) then they are wrong.
Just, wrong.

So once completed the slam I can challenge the other Pacts?
Example, during the slam I challenge an Old World, and at the end of the slam, when challenging the other races for the Grand Slam, I can challenge Lustrian and Chaos Pact (once each)?
