As the years passed King Grimfang Trollreaper grew old and grey. So old that
even for a dwarf his lifespan was about to come to an end. As he now feels the
day of his passing coming nearer and nearer he recognizes the need to
designate his successor. Since he did not take a new wife after the early
death of his beloved Queen, he has no son whom he could put in place, and he
feared war could wage over his kingdom when everyone will try to claim the
throne for his own. But whom to choose? The wisest, might not be able to cope
the presure of a war and the land could be doomed. The most combat proof would
surely be unable to fullfill the duties of a statesman. So he needed to find
someone that combined strength, wisdom and leadership but also has enough own
resources so he will not be driven by total grief for the royal treasuries.

So after weeks of pondering and counseling he decided the following:
Any ruler of a town or region within the dwarven kingdom can come with a group
of his men to the capital and that one who is able to lead his men to the
victory of a bloodbowl match shall become new king.

Start of the tourney will be tuesday the 12th in July.

Sorry for posting this that late, but i was busy.

I'll join, just not sure of the format, here. Got messed up when I tried with humans. Do I get assigned an opponent (what it looked like to me) or just go to the channel and see who is there (what It seemed like I read?)

Obviously dwarves do not want to play. We are far far away from having a 16 team tourney. Oh joy coming up. Smile

I'm working hard at getting my dorfs up to 200TS so I can play. Bastid opponents keep ripping and niggling me dorfs tho!

I like fair match ups fine... especially when...

Bunny TS > Opponent TS
Opponent TR > Bunny TR
Bunny DP > Opponent DP

Thats a fair match!
