Phyrric Victory for the Malekith Moostamers vs the Metal Militia.
The Militia lost 2-3 vs the Darkies but they almost achieved their goal of a slam dunk with 5 cas (BH).

Having studied the tactics of Stand Firm the Metal Militia set out to do a Slam Dunk for the EMU. The embarrasing defeat at the hands of Dark Elf team Dark was not going to stop the Militia from inflicting serious pain on the Moostamers.
The Darkie fans were desperately trying to stop the Militia from mauling the Moostamers into dust by throwing rocks at Pure Hatred and Cardinal Sin. Things looked very good as several of the poofs were injured and out of the game early in the match, but due to shocking exploiting moves by darkie blitzers they were able to steal the ball on several occasions. They even managed to intercept the ball in such a way that it was obvious that elf magic was involved. The tricks and cheating of pointy-ears are now customary in all games involving the Militia.
Only due to a longbomb by Massive Attack was a humiliating defeat avoided and honour saved as Orgy of Flesh made the second TD.
Beware elves! Beware!!! A cunning plan is in the making...  |

great game... didnt though i would win, the 1st half i could do nothing with the ball, but the rat ogre kept on the casualties, and the 2nd half he didnt had enough players to defend properly.

Stand firm has been defeated by Malekiths Moosetamers
STAND FIRM failed miserably!
Malekiths Moosetamers being favorite with more then 50 tr difference on our the Stand Firm dwarfs. After the win over dark Stand Firm was sure to win this one! But this turned out differently.
Althoug we managed to BH both St 4 DE lineman in the 1st half and with the kickoff our way and the score 1-1 everything looked well. Unfortunate and miserable blocking in the 2nd half caused the Stand firm team to lose the ball: Three times Dubble skull was just to much to deal with! The DE's responded to quick and stalled us one turn, leaving only 3 turns to score in the 2nd half. We came one pace short for the 2-2 tie.

Stand firm defeated Faries OF The Faraway Forest
STAND FIRM paid a high price losing a troll slayer!
After losing their previous game vs Malekiths Moosetamers, Stand Firm tried a woodelf team of their own size.
This was a horrible game: early in the 1st half The Troll Slayer Hkarr Slateslasher died and the bastard apoth failed to save him from his faital injury.
Dispite this great loss early in the 1st half Stand Firm stood firm and hit back on the poor Woodelfs, killing Carl Queen in the Process and injuring an other (the last one saved by the apoth). The loss over Hkarr Slateslasher gave Stand Firm the motivation to win this game!
This victory is claimed in honor of the late Hkarr Slateslasher.

My casualty was saved by the apothecary, as was one of his SI. The other just missed the next game.

Stand firm Ties with Alptraumnachtlich
STAND FIRM lost the casualty matchup!
Stand firm started promising, with a perfect defence the dwarfs suppriced the DE’s. The next turns developed slowly, the DE’s looking for a gap, while Stand firm covered all receivers as good as they could. Bit in turn 4 the De’s took the lead with a elf famous run, handoff, run throw td move…. 0-1 fir the evil Elfs!
Now it’s our turn! At least that’s the plan.. but soon we saw that sure hands doesn’t do a thing for picking up the ball. The DE’s easily took the ball (ofcourse) and only cause they failed a leap we were able to get the ball back. Giving little time to score 1-1, with 3 GFI’s Stand firm made it to run 15 paces in turn 7 and 8.
The 2nd half Stand firm had a slow but steady drive, the DE’s were a master in not getting injured, only a thrower with no block dodge was KO’d in the first 5 turns. And but by all gods.. we did block them.. all the time! In the end Stand firm was within scoring range, but the DE’s got the ball lose on a –2 dice block. If it wasn’t for the missed pass after that, the DE’s would have won the match. Luckily they failed the catch. So this game remained 1-1.

Having learned from previous errors. The Morr's Avengers stood ready once more to fact again a team of Dark Elves. This time they allowed no quarter to the puny elves. During the first half the Witch Elf was sent to the box badly hurt after Ahmon'Rha took out his anger at these fast running people when at last she was still allready bleeding on the ground.
The ironcurtain raised by the undead as they time and time again bashed their way through the Elves defence finaly took the toll of the Elves and as the last turn was to start, not a single elf was standing as Seth'Rha walked into the Endzone to score his second Touch Down |

Once more the undead team Morr's Avengers faced the pointy ears. This time those who hide in the woods among the leaves and trees.
Little did they know the terror they were to face.
Fatal injuries were inflicted and towards the end the Undead coach was nice enoguh to stand up with only five players on his side to give the Elves a sporty chance..
But to no avail, the strength of the undead proved to much for the speed of the elves.

Things are changing...
The Forces Of Change managed to slow down the speedy scoring of Solataire in a grueling tie, 2-2. The only 2 casualties in the game were of random linemen on each side, only my apo failed to save him.

Stand firm Wins from #3 overall ranking team Berek's Boys
A plan executed perfectly
The Woodelfs won the toss and elected to recieve the ball: in turn 2 they scored their 1st td.
After that Stand firm started a slow but steady drive and scored one BH Wardancer and the equelliser td: 1-1.
With only 6 Woodelfs it was hard to stop Stand Firm from scoring 2-1, a riot delayed the game, giving the woodelfs one more shot to score. the catcher was brought down a few paces before the td zone. A Wardancer tried to leap in there, but he came head first down and was killed in that effort, if it wasn't for the doctor. With some smooth ball handling actions Stand firm almost scored 3-1 in turn 8, but they failed a block. Berek's Boys tried next to score in turn 8, but the thrower (who completed only 1 pass) tripped over his own feet, getting in position for the long bomb.

The Berek's Boys suffered two more casualties by actions of themselves:
1 failed leap: death (apoth saved) and a failed dodge: Badly hurt.
