This thread will replace the "spam of site PMs" a lot of group members have been complaining to me about. From here onwards, only the most important information will be sent as group PMs. The rest of the stuff will be on the forums.
These are the group PMs you will still receive: (Headline info in brackets)
-sign-up for a tournament begins (GL - Sign-up for tourney X is open!)
-sign-up for a tournament ends (GL - Sign-up for tourney X will end soon!)
-beginning of tournament info (GL - Tourney X begins!)
-redline/deadline dates for current/next round (GL - Tourney X - Round Y - redline/deadline dates)

Announcement: The first headhunt vote will be held after World's Edge finishes, before Loren or 'Eadsplitta begin. It will probably be "choose the target out of X options". I see some nasty one-turners just begging to get a boot. |

TOURNAMENT INFO:
bloodelf's Highland Cows have made it to the World's Edge final!
During the exciting last round a lot of things happened.
1) The crowd favorite, Mr_QB's We wantss the powerss lost versus Jinxed's Necrophobic. A tie would have meant Mr_QB would be in the final match!
2) DanTitan76's Am-Khemri-Kanos won the match versus Flaming Falchion, racking up 2 reserve points. He took the lead and it strongly looked like he was going to the final match.
3)bloodelf's Highland Cows won their match versus Karhumies's Lissie and her friends, racking up 4 reserve points.
4) DanTitan76 and bloodelf were tied in points.
5) Their head-to-head resulted in a tie.
6) We take a look at the reserve points each team has collected, as according to the league's scoring rules.
7) Highland Cows got 24 reserve points (24½ if you count also halved points). Am-Khemri-Kanos got "only" 23 reserve points (24 if you count also halved points).
8 ) bloodelf advances to the final game! |

Claude's and Shadowcast's teams have been kicked out from the league due to being 30d offline without informing me beforehand.
This opens up three new race slots:

Estimated beginning days for the Loren and Eadsplitta:
'Eadsplitta - Friday 16th September
Loren - Saturday 17th September
As usual, the tournaments will kick off with a live round 1 pairing event on #grudgeleague channel after which the round 1 begins immediately.
UPDATE: Redline/deadline dates for round 1 in both tournaments:
Redline - Between Monday 26th September and Tuesday 27th September, 12pm FUMBBL time
Deadline - Between Monday 3rd October and Tuesday 4th October, 12pm FUMBBL time |
