Welcome Axiom to the field of 32! Just when we were thinking it was going to be a run-away orc show this year, we now have 5 dark elves in the mix!

DE are the best tourney elves IMO simply because they are the most durable and have more hitting power.

Hmm need to repair my orcs or get my chaos team up to scratch in order to enter a QS qualifier.

And along comes the first chaos dwarves to advance to the finals, Mandinka Tribe, a team I dearly pray I will never have to face...

And two more new teams join the fray - Whamri (cwebb's Khemri) win their QS Qualifier, while the Deadland Devils win SA Qualifier 1 at great cost to the team - 4 Dead players including a mummy with 2 skills, a ghoul with two skills and two skilled zombies ring the team down to a rating of 143/138. Can they rebuild fast enough to be remotely prepared for the Cup?

We now have 3 skaven teams in the finals, after the rats of Till Death Do Us Part defeated the favored Fighting Hellfishes of JanMatty to take the LLT I qualifier...

Making our 6th darkelf team in the finals (second only to the 7 orc teams) are the infamous Blood Falcons, a team worth any two others. Can anybody stop them from taking it all?

And then there were 6...6 spots left in the final dance, that is, as the chaos of Defilers of Dreams knock Fun with Goats out of the tourney...again...

The seventh dark elf team qualified today, as AGI Freaks knocked off a strong orc team to take the QS XX title. Dark elves have now tied orcs as the most popular team of choice for the Fumbbl Cup, with two more orcs and one more dark elf in their respective qualifier finals. Which race will be the most represented? Stay tuned...

There are now 8 orc teams in the FC, as Csonti's Tough Enough and Rough Enough knock out some high elves en route to fame and glory. Meanwhile, in an epic battle, our first FC dwarves have joined the cast of 32, as Barak Var Knucklebreakers knock off Emphasy's humans for a final spot.

Three more slots remain...will it be the dwarves/necro/orc to add bashiness, or the dark elves/skaven/wood elves to add agility? Stay tuned...

In a stunning display of defiance, FischerKing proved who wanted a spot in the FC finals more, as his Deepwood Junkies knock off a very strong orc team to become the 2nd woodelf (10th elf overall) in the finals.

Only two more matches to play, and then the tourney coordinator Mezir has promised a couple days for the last winners to do some last-second training before it all kicks off...it's almost time, folks...buy your front-row, 50-yard-line tickets now, because the action is gonna start soon!
