I can make the client play the original sounds but I can't make him play my soundpack.

Can you chose your soundpack from client's sound tool bar when playing?

No, I don't. BTW I'm not tracking the charts. Usually there is no music I prefer. Wink

BTW my wife plays violin in our city philharmonic orchestra.

from client's player pic: sound/change sounds....you should have access to all the various soundpacks you have previously set in your comp.

That is right, but in the past (ver. 0.8.3) only sounds from 'original' subdirectory were played correctly (at least at my client installation).
Doesn't matter in that case as I already wrote.

Edit: I notice that the original ones are 8-bit 22050Hz samples .. try converting the ones you have

That could be it. My soundpack contains 16-bit 22050Hz wav files.
Arrrrrrgh Twisted Evil audacity converts to 16-bits only. I need to find some tool for 8-bit convertion.

The tool comes bundled with WinXP. Smile
Conversion to 8-bit 22050Hz solves the issue.

Thanks Laviak. Smile

Nothing against the good advice of Laviak...but if you look thru the customise threads as a whole you will find ALL the specifics you need to build a soundpack. Wink

History is a great teacher.

I did but didn't manage to. After your post I tried once more and indeed I found them very quickly. Then I realized that I probably had limited search to "customization" while the answers are in the "bugs and problems" one. Which is quite obvious. Wink

Thanks, this helps me a lot.
