To all coaches in Random League: Season 1 starts today. All slots are filled now and the schedule is ready in the group page:

So you can start playing from now on.
Please remember to check the league rules if you didn't already, specially the In-Tourney Handicap stuff.
The deadline for group matches is: 8 - 11 - 2003
There is no need to post results in this thread, I can check them in the group page easily. But you can use this thread for everything else related with Random League. Suggestions, announcements to your opponents if you have to leave for a few days, etc.

Important Update: Right now, the tournament code forces overtime in Robin Round games. However, WE WILL NOT USE OVERTIME IN REGULAR SEASON IN RANDOM LEAGUE.
That means, if you play a game and tie it, that tie is definitive. JUST CLICK THROUGH TURNS IN OVERTIME WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING until it is over.
This will be done until the tournament code changes this issue to allow normal ties in Round Robin.

Important news:
1) I will post the standings for both groups soon in this thread, and not in the group page. Just so that you know where to look for it.
2) I did forfeit manually the remaining games for Chickenbrain's dwarves after his dropping out, so everybody will get 3 points for a win against them, Mr-Klipp included, of course. I want to apologize to the rest of coaches for this inconvenience  I will try to make it better next season, please forgive me.
This means, all the coaches in group 1, please ignore that match as if it weren't there and proceed to your next scheduled game.
Finally I want to apologize specially to Mr-Klipp, whose team was the only one that played against the dwarves and was seriously damaged in that game

Sorry for my bad mood. Somehow fumbbl.com pissed me really. SO you don't need to forgive Go, but instead me if possible. Especially Mr-Klipp, whos team was really broken by my dwarfs. |

Breaking News
Halfling team finishes Regular season undefeated!!!
After some amazing performances by those little evil heroes they managed even to win their last game against some ugly lizards!
The cold-blooded Lizardmen coach said after the game:
"haaalflings cheaaaat!" "boooo!" "cheeaaateeeers! they had poison daggers! LOTS of poison daggers!"
Reports say that no proof of foul play could be found after the investigation, but there are voices claiming it was suspicious the fact that only 5 lizard players remained on the pitch at the end of the game. Those big-mouthed lizard-lovers will be visited asap by our thugs -I mean reporters- to "confirm" their words.
The halfling coach claimed moral victory over first season of Random League after this astounding display of bravery and courage. |

The rumors that I WANTED to loose first random league to get to use reroll next time to roll halflings are highly overrated. It just aint true. Well, atleast not fully |
