I guess this question is directed at Skijunkie, or perhaps anyone else who can see problems that might occur with the topic.

I recently found out that the client supports the use of subfolders for the playericons. Ive begun to sort all the icons into racespecific folders, to make it much easier to get an overview of the icons. It also helps if u want to use different BG icons for different races for example.

I guess my question is why this has never been done in the client? Are there some hidden problems with using folders, im not aware of? Ive been doing a couple of teams now, and so far i see no problems, other than i have to duplicate a few icons (take beastmen for example, used by 2 teams) but thats a small price to pay for making that folder easier to manage.

ofcourse you could always get new nurgle beastmen icons...

my client is sorted into subfolders and works fine.

It does? I've never tried it. Or I've forgotten that it did. Perhaps if someone emails me the directory structure and ini files it will appear in the next patch.

Glad you bumped it as now I can sort out my icons folder which is getting hectic with all the stunty teams as well.

I wonder if this could be a way to use customized icons for your own team alone without having to link the icons to player names? (I don't have programming know-how Smile)
