I usually set up some sort of box or a screen then pick up the ball with a Skink and run it in to the central Saurus to get them the ball, then no matter where it scatters bound to be in at least 1 or possible 3 or 4 tacklezones when the Saurus fumbles... the best part about this tactic is it can often draw in tasty Wardancers and other high speed agile players trying to dash it and run even if you fail!

I would offer my thoughts but I don't want to give out how to defeat my favorite race!

How to defeat Lizards
with elves, Kick and Streep Ball (Leap too is usefull)
with many others, Tackle and Migthy Blow (and later, Guard makes them loock less STrong, but beware of ag2 Sauri)

Untill you get those, mark the Saurus, blitz the Skinks and make them roll lots

I understand the strategy of kill the skinks, and in general its a good one. However, you must remember that a good lizard coach understands that the opponent will be doing that and will protect the skinks accordingly. If you want to really hurt a lizard team concentrate of taking out the saruii for the first few turns. When you've got 1 or 2 saurii off the pitch its a lot harder to protect the skinks.

It's easy. Just bring off the pitch those little slithery thingies that are able to grab the ball. Then score.
Repeat the process.

It will also leave your Sauri without block for quite a while and then you need to get to 31 spps for the 3rd skill. Just not worth it in my mind as lizards already suffer from lack of skills and RRs. Of course you might opt to go for MB after block but I'd personally go for Break Tackle or Guard.

I think I'd go either Block/Break Takle/Tackle

or

Block/Guard/Break Tackle

A 4th skill is something I only dare dream of Wink
