Wow,

I guess as soon I am home from work I have to replay that game and take a look what happend.
3:0 with almost even DE vs DE teams?

Second half is in the replayable mode and the first half I've commented. We both didn't play well and I made a few huge misplays. I guess I'm still a bit too inexperienced with high TR teams.

Also I had some runs of bad luck in somewhat crucial moments.

edit. Borgen totally deserved to win.

After that OverDose had to push to try to score and ended up getting snake eyes on a GFI with a RIP to his dirty player. It was an easy recovery which led to a score and 3-0 around turn 5, which was game over. In turn 7 I made what could have been the boneheaded block of the tournament, thinking i was using my tackle witch i chose push/pow, the 2nd block was 2d against, which resulted in SI -av to my 73 spp witch. Fortunately the apo worked...

PeteW and Oventa - By the time you guys finish your game i'll be on a flight to Germany for the world cup, so we'll have to do the final when I get back - I'll be around all day on the 25th

Wowzah! What a semi! First I thought I had it, then I was sure Oventa would win, then I got it back again and managed to escape and score. Phew! And exhausting but very enjoyable game. Well played Oventa!

So Borgen is away fro 3 weeks in a biweekly KO competition.... doesn't that mean I win by default? Wink

Only joking, can't wait for the final! Hurry back Borgen!

Okay, so Borgen claims he will be around all day on Sunday (25th), so hopefully we will be able to play the final at 2130 BBtime. Get your beers and pretzels in, it's going to be a cracker of a match!

For the first time ever, I'm almost moved to support Pete. But sadly his undead team replacing my orc team as King of the Hill still upsets me too much. Besides, everyone loves Thorpe, we just don't show it. BTW from the start I thought that the Blood Red Dragons would win it, though the Savants looked strong too. Sadly I'm in a Wisconsin wasteland on the 25th, which also happens to be my brother's birthday. GL to both competitors. But also: Nuffle curse Pete!
