XFL Vampire coming up
In the depth of Sylvania the Vampire Counts lurk in their haunted castles since the dawn of mankind. Feasting upon man they endured the centuries, untouched, unchallenged. But over the years men became more and more aware of the death from the eastern lands and began to watch out for them. Thus it became harder and harder for the dark lords to satisfy their thirst without exposing themselves too much.
And the harder it got, the more the Vampires longed for the old days, where they could wade through the blood of the mortals and let all their considerateness aside. The oldest Vampires counciled to find a way to bring back the former times. It was Mordikai von Drakenborg, a cousin of the famous Count Luthor who came up with a cunning plan:
"Gather all the Vampires in Sylvania and their minions to come here. Hold a
Blood Bowl Tournament lasting for several weeks. Spread the word about it all over the land, and people will come to watch the spectacular. Let everyone know, that the greatest event of the year will take place in the sacred land of our ancestors and the masses will come. And we shall have our feast and more blood than we could ever dream of..."
And so it was done, messengers were send not only within Sylvania but also into every city of the Old World and beyond. Come to Sylvania or you will miss the time of your life!
Teams who want to participate can apply to the group page until the tournament starts, Friday May 26th 2006. This is a weekly tournament so please make sure you are available to play during the week, so we don't get any delays. Any [R] Vampire teams are eligable. Only apply if you are willing to play all rounds, so we don't get any drop outs. |

I predict either Whyme Whynot or Nachtburg Ancients will win this tournament... but that's because I've never heard of any other vampire teams.  |
