Ho Lee Moses sadly passed away a mere 4 hours after being signed for the Mirenburg Maulers. In his first match his promising career was cut short as Darwin Awards' Mummy Manoel Messias Batista Coelho stuck out a bandaged stump to tackle the passing Ho Lee, thus reducing the hapless catcher to a red smear across the pitch, accompanied by frenzied howls of "Braaaaaaainnnnnssssss" from the Awards' fans.
Mirenburg Head Coach Marcello von Beck, on being questioned about life insurance for players remarked:
"Well, we sign new policies on a Friday. Unfortunately the match was on a Thursday..."
Ho Lee is surprisingly upbeat however. After playing out the remainder of the game as a zombie for the Darwin Awards he is now looking start a promising music career. |
