Its shameful how many games had to be forfeited in round 3. Please try to play your games. You all knew what you started when joining this tournament.

From now on all unplayed games will be forfeited at the deadline unless you have contacted me before that. Also maximum number of extra time is four days, after that the game is finally forfeited. Also from now on if neither player has contacted me and game is forfeited both players will count as lost in the scores.

Peikko - can i make a suggestion ?

Can the teams that moved on via forfiet have the option to play each other in a "non-league" game ? This way they can keep their SPPs in line with the other teams who have played. It's not a major issue now, but if more teams forfeit you could end up with a team that's played 10 games vs a team that's played 5 or 6.

I think that is fair since they also have the risk of losing players to injury. Since none of the forfeited winners have played in week #4 yet this might be a good time to discuss it.

No.

1. It would leave place for abuse.
2. Its not possible, tournament code locks tournament teams from playing outside teams.

Fourth round matches Sandrian Springboks (psikobunny) vs Waldmeister (Afro) and Loose Calolleys (Baskhus) vs Striders from the west (DurieL) has been forfeited and judged as both lost according the rules stated after last round.
Other games have been granted few extra days.

Following round 5 matches has been forfeited as NO WIN status for both:

Loose Calolleys vs Sandrian Springboks
Darkwood Lightnings vs We Bring Great Evil - Revived
Striders from the west vs Fallen Angels Redux


Followind teams have been kicked out of the Challenge due no effort to play games
on deadlines and missing THREE rounds in row compleately.

We Bring Great Evil - Revived coached by Mafo
Striders from the west coached by DurieL

Teams that are scedueled to play these teams get WIN if they send me a pm before deadline
of the round.

Make note that in next round we might see more kicked teams so if youre not looser, play your matches. You all knew what you started.

Well that sucks sh-t Peikko (through no fault of your own). It's too bad we feel we have to "protect" coaches out there who bail on tournaments and not have some type of public record of tournaments entered, completed, bailed.

But like most laws here in the US we create rules that protect the minority and hurt the majority.

sad, but it´s nothing new i guess... ppl dropping cause their teams lack, ... ahm... spirit Wink. i really hoped that this tourney would finish, but again my hopes scattered, cause some coaches only want to play with easy wins (where´s the fun in that??).
