This is for anyone who customises their bio's and wants to have nice links to players/teams/whatever but can't be bothered to mess around with HTML (and a real timesaver for those who do already mess around with the HTML).

Its a Firefox extension called CoLT (short for "Copy Link Text").
Obviously you need Firefox to use it.
Once you have Firefox, get the extension here: http://www.borngeek.com/firefox/colt/ (installation is a breeze)

Here's an explanatory screenshot:

Now just paste into your team bio (or wherever) and you get a nice looking and perfectly functional link like this:
Orcland Rams
(use the preinstalled 'Custom Format1 (BBCode)' for posting into the forum)

Since getting it, I have used this extension loads. Now my bios are full of links where I wouldn't have bothered before.

FIrefox itself prevents me from downloading/installing it, claims it would protect my machine!

that's the case with every extension you install.
except that most of the time, you do that from mozilla's website, and you authorize it.
if you don't believe the original poster, don't install it. or, if you trust someone who knows a bit about computers, ask him to check what the extension really does before you authorize the installation =)

Here's another Firefox extension I found that's nice: Download Statusbar. Gets rid of that irritating pop-up window that shows your download progress and puts a tab in your statusbar instead.

That's a great little extension, and what's more, you can adapt it to different environments; I've set it up to also paste external links in the FUMBBL User Guide using the custom setting [%T|%U]

I found another nice little add-on gem: FoxClocks. Now you can have your local time and Fumbbl time (or any timezone - like one belonging to a tourney opponent across the globe) displayed in the bottom toolbar of your browser.

Uhm, can't have the foxclocks flags to work. Any clue?
