Well, Greyhunter, warpstone isn't green, as you pointed out, but coloring it the right way would be quite boring since the "real" colour of unrefined warpstone is black... a black that works much like a black hole = it absorbs light.
We can the assume that the warpstone in the trophy is refined. Refined warpstone is usually a grey powder, but it can come in a crystalized form too. A nice translucent crystal that, taking the chaos aspect into account, can be of any colour Smile

my rendition of the FUMBBL Cup.

I suppose any colour is right, but i always thought that purple looked better Smile

I love the fact that the Fumbbl Cup has 1s on all visible sides

Shouldn't a warpstone-cup feature a skaven paw rather than a human hand?

maybe, but my modeling skills ain't that great Smile -I'm self taught dont'ya'know.

And its a mutaing human hand, it may not be that noticable with the black background, but that thing at the back is a tenticle. when i get home from work i'll repost so its more noticanle, maybe change another finger as well.

Great work guys.

I had a chat with Momfreeek and asked him to replace the dice for the FUMBBL Cup with a spiked football. The dice and the 1 are a part of the FUMBBL logo, but if you place yourself in the Old Worlde for second... what does a dice have to do with Blood Bowl?

As for the hand holding the warpstone, I have suggested that we go for a mailed/gauntletted hand if possible, or a hand that has talons.

VanGorn is going to try and put in the shadowy Skaven head in the actual banner.

like that? (although not exactly, because after rendering this out, my 3d program crashed and destroyed the save. so I'll have to start over. (Good time for constructive critisim))

Nice.

Constructive criticism: it's a little long and skinny. And, (dare I say it?) it may have a few too many spikes

Also the black background makes it hrd to see it well :p and it is too skinny . Apart from that its nice Razz . Although maybe conical spikes could be worth trying ?

it's a difficult concept, I know, but it seems kinda busy... try taking out the two in the middle on the side, see if that doesn't look a little better, especially if you shorten the whole thing a little

I know people like long bombs, but it kinda looks like a torpedo

this is more like the drawn version of the spiked ball.
