The Road to the FUMBBL Cup

This is the series I've been working on for Tournament News Tomight, to help publicize the buildup to the FUMBBL Cup. I've been trying to update regularly enough to keep interest, but don't know how often I should. You see, there's no way for me to know how many people are reading it, or what they think of it. I have shown it to a few people in TNT and around the site during the development, and they have been positive, but I need to know how the public feels.

In all fairness, I've read Wuthering Heights and Great Expectations in comic book form....

I love it. It's awesome, and yes, my High School had this odd "Classics" series of comic books. Great time killer when no one else had the same spare. The artwork on Jekyll and Hyde was.... done by someone on LSD....

Joyful Irony

The Setting..

Going into the game, everyone was sensing an experience of some kinda. Most of us truly suspected it to be validation of a long held fear of players like this:

Joyful

The match started with Joyful requiring the team apoth's services to even take the pitch. No sweat! In a tourney match with that kinda of opening draw, everyone would have used the apoth.

First turn for the receiving Chaos.... 1 RIP and 1 KO from Joyful's first block. The crowd was clearly anticipating a masterful performance from a true bred killer. As Joyful looked up for his next group of women to bang (and sure enough, two good zons were standing side by side) the drugged and buzzed zon thrower took his head off with one clean swipe!

Utter shock took hold of the specs as we actually had to take a moment and process what just happened.

Let this be a reminder for all coaches of the dangers in playing the game.
