Today a friend, a mentor, an inspiration and the oldest player of Hippies 69 has passed away. Los Santos was killed in his 158th match against ogres after killing one of their big guys too.

Los Santos was the oldest and wisest player in the team. Often were rookies seen around him asking for advice about blocking or something important about blood bowl. Many saw him as a father to themselves.

After the match the team gathered around Los Santos to pay him respects for one last time. Then Los Santos was carried away from the pitch with the crowd completely silent, also showing their respect to the fallen hero.

At the funeral, surrounded by his teammates and most loyal fans, the team's coach Jopotzuki makes an announcement:

"Today we remember Los Santos, a friend, a colleague, a true fighter. He gave his life for his family, us, the team he had been playing for years. Many of you did't know him for long but those that did, knew that no matter what happens, Los Santos would be there to cover your back. Now with a heavy heart, but filled with pride I give this announcement. From today on the jersey of Los Santos and his player number #12 will be retired. Los Santos shall wear his shirt playing with other legends in the halls of the blood bowl gods."
