Today, captain of Chaos Dwarven team A Plan Comes Together #9 Patton rallied his team from a 1-0 deficit against tasty Lizzie team Muddy Men. With the score 0-1, Patton broke away to level the game in T8, setting up a comeback that was completed for a 2-1 victory for the hatted ones. It was the legend's 36th touchdown, and the invaluable Hobbo took his spot as the greatest [R] Hobgoblin of all time, surpassing the previous mark set by Disliked by Arnold, hitting a huge 179 spps.

Patton had lead APCT through 78 of 81 games, and with AG4 blodge, became our ever reliable ball carrier. Whilst the team has a good on-pitch record, they never won a tournament under Patton's captaincy, going out of the FC in round three, and losing in OT in a hard-fought Legend SMACK final in their only Minor attempt. With his niggling injury coming to light as he became a legend at 176spps, the grand old stager is now ready to shuffle off into the cold, long night. However, in today's post match press conference, an emotional Patton regretted having never led his side to glory! He wanted one last hurrah!

With these revelations, coach Purplegoo decided that the Plan are ready for one last shot at glory with their leader at the helm. On Saturday or Sunday evening, Patton will lead the boys onto the field for one last time in a Legend SMACK. With apo privileges revoked, numerous hardcore birthday bloated teams on the horizon, and doubtless niggler LOS duties to fulfill, the chances of a last glowing victory look bleak for our hero.
