This is Robbert Graaf talking about what is up and down in the DLE playoff this season. I am now 4/8, so a monkey could basically do this job. Chimp? You do it next season?

Now. Onwards to the conference finals or as some would say, the semifinals.

Lets start with KFC.

here we have Broekwater Patriots vs Talabheim Sluggers
The big favorites this season vs one of the surprices in the playoff. This is also no1 vs no2 in the KFC seeding. This is the top teams kicking it off.
Patriots come from a hard fought win over Thunder. It ended 3-1, but was a very close affair. They lost Harry "red" Grange (4 skills blitzer) and ST-player Blitzer Chad Clifton is out with a MNG. Rough times for Pats. This means patriots brings 15 players to this game. Best players from the Pats in that game was blitzer Jason Taylor(Juggernaut/Mighty Blow/Frenzy/Tackle/PO) who made 10 blocks in the game. He didn't hurt anyone badly, but was a constant threat to the enemy. The other player that really shined for the Pats was catcher David Johnson(+AG/+ST/+ST/Wrestle) with both a pass and a TD in the game. Those two players must perform again for the Patriots to win this game. We all remember what happened last season when, the underdog, the Classics did horrible things to the Pats in this excact game one season ago. Will we see the old fashioned 2-1 grind from the Pats? It has been a while since last time.

Sluggers come from a shootout win over the Griffins with a 4-3 win. This was not as close as one could hope for. Sluggers did a good job studying the Griffins before the game, so they knew some of the snapcounts, and blitz!ed twice in the first half. Griffins never recovered, and Slugger moved on. Sluggers bring 16 players to this game, but they lost lineman John "45" Nesser(3 skills lino) in the process. Blitzer Slugg jr(Guard/Mighty Blow/+ST/+AG/Tackle) was the man of the hour with 14 blocks! but just as Taylor from Pats, Slugg jr. didn't hurt anyone. Will he redeem himself in the next game? Another great performance came from catcher Kenny Stills(+AG/Block/+ST/Leap/Tackle) as he made 3 TDs in this game. How about that. Pats need to find a way to close him down or they can get a hard evening.

The 2 teams has met twice before endning in a 2-1 win to the Pats and a 3-3 draw. Sluggers are known this season to throw a mean punch, and roll lots of POWs. They must find that again as they are underdogs in this matchup. Even though Pats lost 2 players for this game, the Pats team is still great. Slugg jr. must perform his best, and Pats must have a day where things doesn't run smoothly. But if any coach is up for some fresh plays, Datom is the coach. It will be exciting to see if he can pull it off, or Sluggers will fall for the steamrolling Patriots.

Verdict:
Patiots win and they win 2-0.

Moving on to SHC.
Here we have Bilbali Rangers vs Brionne Buccaneers
This is the 2nd seed facing the 4th seed from Brionne. These 2 coaches have never met before in DLE as SzieberthAdam is new this season with the Rangers. Bucs have met other Rangers coaches so we can look to those games as the Rangers has been the same team for a long time. Bucs has lost 1-2 and got a draw 2-2 way back in time.
How did Rangers get here? They come from a very close game with the Vikings were some hero moves was needed in order to avoid overtime. But Rangers ended up with a 1-0 win. The win didn't come without cost. Big star Ogre Andre Asdoria is sittign this one out with a MNG. Huge blow for the Rangers. They do have some +ST players, but the ogre will be missed. No doubt. Rangers need the stars from the last game to perform in order to stay in the playoff and get to the promised land of the Super Bowl. 1st big hero from last game was Thrower Geno Smith(Block/Dodge/+MA/Tackle) who made the 1 dice hit on Vikings baller knocking the ball free. And the other star of the game lineman Kony Ealy(+AG/+ST/Dodge/Wrestle/Sure Hands/+MA) who made some nice dodges and picked up the ball and ran it in for the win. Gamechanging players are always needed. Kony is also the prime ballcarrier with the Rangers, so he will once be expected to carry the team on his back, unless the butchers from Bilbali wakes up and cause some destruction on the Bucs team.

The Bucs come from a huge 1-0 win over the SHC favorites from Kislev White Wolves. Some solid defence gave a 1-0 win, and the Bucs showed they got that killer instinct by killing league star Fletcher Cox(ST5 beast), not once but twice in the same game. I guess Coxnumber was up. Lets all keep a 1 min silence for this great player of the league. A legend to be rememeber.

okay... The Bucs must rely on players like blitzer Jason "Kingpin" Fisk(+ST/Dodge/Guard/Mighty Blow/Tackle) to do his magic as he made 3 casualties in the game. He was the one killing Cox both times! It would be likely to pick the TD man as the other star, but the real star behind the Bucs sucess this season is Thrower Brad "J-Man" Johnson(+AG/+ST/Block/Leader/Tackle/+AG) who got 14 yards of rushing this game. Maybe not much production, but his presence on the pitch makes his teammates play better. Bucs also got a player missing the big game. Their loss is a MNg to a ST4 blitzer. They also bring 15 players to the game.

Can the Rangers overcome the loss of the Ogre, or will it even out with Bucs loss of a ST4 blitzer? Maybe playoff coolness can be a thing here. Back in season 1 Bucs was in the Superbowl, but lost. Not the same players, but the franchise and the coach meanandugl will remember what it was like. But looking at the games the 2 teams come from I think Bucs will win on defence. They managed to hold KWW from a TD, and shutting them down for 1,5 halfs is something. Also Rangers coach has expressed concerns about scoring lately. A smokescreen? who knows.

Verdict.
Bucs win and they win 1-0.
