So this is my first ever Blog - guess I ain´t much of a blogger ;) However I have something I´d like to share to the world (and since I can´t get their attention - at least to the FUMBBL community).

Over the last few years I´ve been on a quest to play 20 games with all races in the Box (A few teams I had played extensively prior, so I haven´t with those - they´re Goblins, Humans and Orcs).
The idea is to play them as they´re supposed to be. That means Chaos with a Mino, Pact with three Big guys etc. - but not necessarily with all positionals - it is the Box after all ;)

However the Orcs aside, I will play them quite a bit in the Box to achieve my next goal... Become Legend with all races.

Anyway back to the achieved quest. It has been surprisingly fun. High Elves are a much stronger and by far more entertaining race than I suspected, while the Pro Elves pull off plays few other can do, Slann and their optimistic game plans are challenging and enjoyable, Nurgle and Chaos are actually pleasant to play (I´d never had guessed). Vampires are as rewarding as they´re frustrating, Underworld bring chaos and destruction to the game, it rocks to beat your opponent with flings, and Ogres makes one go from nail biting moment to nail biting moment in your hunt for glory. All in all it has been great fun to bring diversity into the Box - and at the same time stay competitive.
Which at least to me means something.

Over the years I´ve played a host of players and I ´d like to say thx to you all. It has been great playing you all - despite occasional moments of self indulging whining and white knuckles of restrained frustration from my side. I truly love this game, the social side to it as well as the tactical.
Therefore I´d also like to give a shoutout to Christer and all you amazing fellas who help keep this site running and improving. I am grateful!
