Is it even possible to fill 3 qualifier groups with coaches OVER CR165?

So, if your CR happens to be over CR165 I would advise to apply to that group because most likely it will be 3 qualifier groups with 4-8 teams.

I just checked and there actually 163 coaches at 165+ cr. So there are enough of them in theory but I don't know how many will participate...

Some of them (at least I) will apply in other qualifiers. And most of them are not active.

Well if you break down the 163 coaches who are currently 165+ CR.

15% of them have been offline for weeks.

20% of them are league only types of coaches. They play around 20 matches in a year in the open divs.

%20 of them are Box only types of guys and have no desire to play in a Ranked major.

%10 of them just do not care what so ever.

So, the reality, IMO is you have a "pool" of about 50-60 coaches who might apply. Now a certain % of those coaches will opt for the stunty group or the forlorn group or the old teams group.

The "pool" of possible coaches could be just 20 for all we know.

I think we need more info actually.

The CR165+ Group. Can you apply if your CR is below that level?

The High TV 1900+ Group. Can you apply if your TV is below that level?

Here is why Iam asking.

Lets take my Rabble Rousers team as an example.

They are below 1900 TV, My CR is below 165, They are not stunty and they are not old and they are not Forlorn. Which group then do I choose? Do I just punt and say I will see you at the Lustrian?

If it turns out on the day that there isn't enough for 3 groups in the high CR then a second stunty group may well form.

My 2cents on the Old Teams Group.

I think the 4 groups should be further broken down.

The Top 8-16 Teams in terms of age in one group.

Then the next group of 8-16 teams of age in the second group

and down we go to the final group.

Lets get the really old teams all facing each other and the young teams in terms of age squaring off.

High Elves and Zons IIRC but they're not fundamentally different from LRB4 now, so it still counts, whereas Ogres... well. ;-)

But the environment is different in CRP, with cpomb, journeymen, inducements .. so I think it could still be confusing.
