FUMBBL :: Online Blood Bowl League

So I've been on a bit of a losing streak, and it's a bummer! It's easy to get frustrated with our dicey hobby in a hurry when you bounce back and forth between getting kicked around by (excellently coached) flings and losing to rookie nurgle... with pro elves (!) to the tune of 0-3. I've also managed to flame out of the past four or five tournaments I've entered in the first round (well... I did advance to round two in one of them by lucking some flings).

Still, in the grips of wondering just how ~~loaded my dice are becoming~~ much my skills are slipping, I can always think to myself "at least it's not The Full Dhaktokh". Have you been feeling a slump recently? Been frustrated at your dice? Wondering if you'll ever win again? Fear not, this guy has your slump beat.

Sure, it may have something to do with the fact that ball and chain (and bombs!) had just been implemented and a worthy and respectable coach such as Dhaktokh is going give those gobbos a whirl (heh)! But whatever the reasons, I take comfort in my down times knowing that at my worst I've only suffered a Half Dhak, and someone else has had it worse. :D

So how much is it numbers? If its about 25 CR drop then I've done a full Dhakh once, and it scarred my soul permanently :P

I dropped about 10 CR over a two day span. I totally feel for anyone going through a drought. Even my ryhme didn't save me this time.

Makes one think maybe stunty losses shouldn't count towards TV... Then again perhaps the rare wins raise TV so much it balances out?

I don't think racial modifiers are that much. If you play stunties or Ogres then your CR will go down. Nothing to worry about!

A Full Dhak: 22.48 (176.56-153.08)
A Half Dhak: 11.24

I can't remember, but I assume it has to do with gobbos at higher tv and when I really wanted to win with another team it was still a disaster.

I guess I've done a bit more than a Half Dhak (so far!), but it is plenty - I assure you! ;) I am really hopeful that some mojo comes back because right now I've shifted away from the crap teams and I'm still losing with dwarves and elves and such. When will it end!? *cry*

That sure is a nice drop you got there Overhamsteren! Grats! But you need to work on the extra 5-6 CR to get a full one. Bring some gobbos after FC so my girls can help you downhill to correct that ;-D

That could be fun, but the CR aspect is really just a symptom of the real problem: swings of luck for an extended number of games can be brutal (or awesome ofc). But the leaderboards are one way to quantify that crappy feeling you have when you think you are losing way to much. :D

Nope, there isn't. The only CR-related badge refers to beating a coach with a very high CR (180+, I think) - if I remember correctly.

There's definitely none about CR increase or decrease. :-D

We dropped to a 3FF, let that sink in...that is how bad the losing stretch was. And I almost dropped to a 2FF but lucked my ass out and rolled the 3 in the 9th loss match.

Been feeling the harsh side of blood bowl myself of over the past week or so, with a number of superstars being killed or obtaining stat busts; High Elves being seriously beaten up by woodies with no MB; and then my chaos failing to cause any damage to Dark Elves. On top of that two pitch invasions have cost me a decent chance in games where I have stopped opponents scoring in the first half, as well as a (perceived) silly number of snake eyes.

I keep thinking of quitting this game, but I cant. I am not sure what the pull or allure of this game is, but still keep coming back for more!
