The defense rests, your witness.

I only find your typing funny, as in peculiar. After time, I now can understand what you are saying and it is meant in good humour. I don't understand why people expect everyone to be English majors, with a doctorate in punctuation. Yes things are written here, but does it need to be that accurate? I don't speak with proper grammar why would I write in it, when I am not subject to?

Wow, as a half (euro)french, born in canada I can say I never picked up on you being french canadian from anything. Course, it'd be easier to judge if I heard your voice, because text doesn't really mean a thing but...
What do you care what some no good rotten picker says anyway?

You shouldn't worry to much. He is obviously mildly retarded and finds words hard.
Posted by the_Sage on 2013-08-01 08:05:09
I find the cyber bully part much more funny tbh. You never sounds particularly Canadian (French or otherwise) to me. That's not to say you're particularly coherent. =P

while we're on the subject of what people sound like. jan-erik once gave me a link to a recording of himself reading a poem. he sounds pretty odd. it was fairly amusing too actually.

Cyber-bully, would refer to pythrr targeting smallman on this very blog, at the time I bought it up (the first time) he had made a third post in a row (now deleted, just after I mentioned it fancy that) about that one coach. The two previous blog posts are there on the right for you to see.
Now, where I come from somebody who tries to increase his standing within his own clique of people by targeting somebody else, would be called a bully. But perhaps that is not true in Western Canada?
Jan-E probably sounds a bit like "mumin troll" - Moomins in English, due to the language group involved, liz. I would sound as a politician from Stockholm, and assuming pythrr´s claim about not being French Canadian is true (given that he blew his top at being called it, it probably is, also not all French Canadians are Quebecois, something a real French-Canadian would know), what about an Asian background? That would fit, non native English speaker, and western Canada. So, how does a Chinese-Canadian sound? No audio files to judge from? Make him post one. So, a Chinese-Canadian Cyber-bully it is.
"Most of them are concentrated within the provinces of Ontario and British Columbia."

Translation: Lotusland = British Columbia

I missed a good blog fun time. :)
I never understand a word you say. I presume that makes me lucky? ;)
Posted by the.tok on 2013-08-01 10:55:14
As a french myself, I never thought you sounded like a french-native speaker would.
But you should be honored he thought that ;)
Posted by the_Sage on 2013-08-01 11:01:21
I lol@ Craftnburn.
C3l2: smallman is a very destructive force on this site. You, as a PO avoiding ranked player, should have an inkling of why. Because smallman acts within the rules of the site, but not within the unwritten rules of common decency, a social reprimand is the only power to addess his behavior. Therefore, anything you construct as 'cyber-bullying' towards smallman, I'd rather consider policing.
Posted by truckerpunk on 2013-08-01 12:33:11
If using the term "Emo" as around 85% of all comments/answers/replies, ect.., is considered to be French-Canadian, then my best guess would be: yes. :D
Posted by koadah on 2013-08-01 13:15:41
@the_Sage: Having a moan about min/maxers & noob hunters is good for the soul. But going on and on about one person when they haven't actually broken the rules can get pretty tiresome though.
It is naming and shaming that is against the rules not min/maxing.

Bullying is when someone attacks an individual for pleasure. I am from Western Canada. I care about people ruining the fun nature of a community. Call it cyber bullying or whatever. 123C's attitude is backwards and individual. Just like smallman's. I will continue to speak out, because I believe their methods of that kid of fun is wrong.
When a Euro trash monger like 123C is throwing out insults about people being from Quebec, that irritates the whole Canada. We may dislike each other within Canada, but we also stand up for one another outside Canada. Thats why we get so involved with the Olympics and cheer for all Canadians. Even when our National Anthem is sung in French, we stand proud and sing along. True North Strong and Free.
Posted by C3I2 on 2013-08-01 16:47:00
So, to be absolutely clear. When I call pythrr French-Canadian, because I believe he is (at least at the time I did). pythrr gets insulted because being a French-Canadian is beneath him. You on the other hand as a Nationalist gets insulted on behalf of French-Canadians, as being implicated as pythrr´s is beneath them, keggie?
Posted by keggiemckill on 2013-08-01 17:25:15
No, because you implied there is something wrong with him because he may be French Canadian. Nationalist? Yes I am.
Posted by licker on 2013-08-01 17:43:46
There's something wrong with pythrr because he's a complete douchebag.
That doesn't really differentiate him from 90% of the people here though.

It would also explain why you are scared of 'Tackle' (if you know what I mean)

Pythrr, it's quite clear now, well at least for me...
You are a Chinse-French-Canadian with Welsh-Greek roots, comin' from da BADLANDS playing Polish-Cricket with vodka drinking lammers and black EMO maids with beards. In your spare time you chainsaw "Rene" Russo at the night in the La-La Land!

I always found your use of language suggested that you are a native English speaker, with enough of a grasp of the language's rules to know how to break them for comedic effect. On the other hand, C3I2's posts would mark him pretty clearly as a non-native speaker. C'est ironique, non?
Posted by C3I2 on 2013-08-01 21:03:53
Of, course, the difference is that I admit to having English as a second language, while he does not, X.
Speaking about irony, how about the fact that being French apparently is an insult in parts of Canada and parts of the UK, so the only guys insulting French speaking people here would be: pytrr (Can), keggiemckill (Can) himself and FredAstaire (UK) the 18 year old player (at 17.55).
Posted by pythrr on 2013-08-01 21:06:12
"Of, course, the difference is that I admit to having English as a second language"
-- which makes you an arrogant moron to assume you can determine whether someone else is. Please google "code switching".
Posted by pythrr on 2013-08-01 21:09:27
"being French apparently is an insult in parts of Canada " ---
for the love of IHC on a stick, please learn to read English. Neither myself nor keggie intimated that "being French" was an insult. Being "French-Canadian" is, in Anglo part of Canada (well, in a jokey way, at least). French is not the same as French-Canadian. By conflating the two you are insulting both groups.
Posted by C3I2 on 2013-08-01 21:42:49
And you brought the bias about French Canadians in from the UK where it is the original French, see the post above at 17.55 by your buddy, Fred A.
Note, that you wont find Scottish people doing the bash Frenchmen thing, they heckle the English instead.
So, do you salute the Red Ensign every morning? Here is a Canadian TV show even you may have heard about. Clip:
Posted by Cavetroll on 2013-08-01 22:05:27
And here I thought pythrr was from Soviet Poland. I will continue to believe that until it is disproven.

New FLASH! ba dut, dat dut, dit dat dut dit dat
Everyone in Canada doesn't hate the Quebecois. We all hate Toronto. Kids in hall are the Monty Python of their time. Atleast in Canada. Dont use them as factual evidence of how Canadians perceive ourselves. See how I said ourselves? 123C, you are flopping you're argument around like an Aristocrats body after he has been guillotined.
By the way, technically English is not my first language. My twin Brother Lordchaos and I, called everything Oggie until we were 1 1/2.
Posted by xnoelx on 2013-08-01 23:22:15
'Of, course, the difference is that I admit to having English as a second language, while he does not, X.'
No. The difference is that he does use English like a native, while you do not, but claim to be able to tell whether others do.
Posted by C3I2 on 2013-08-02 00:07:51
You mean badly X? By the way, he has not denied being Chinese-Canadian, nor has he blown his top over the issue, at least not yet.
Keggie, pythrr apparently don't know Intelligence, Slings and Arrows or any other excellent Canadian TV show I have mentioned so far, so incredulous as it sounds it is not impossible he wont know Kids in the Hall either.
Canadian cultural dominance! Amazing is it not?

No we didn't, you ignorant turnip-eater. Please google Quebec referendum and you'll find a host of reasons that FC's are looked down upon by many anglos in Canada. Oh, and poutine. ;)

You silly coaches you. We owe the French a great deal! Why, without the French language, we would not have the words "petty", "juvenile", "argument", or "desist". Not to mention "account" and "suspended"!
I say that George StPierre should come to your houses and settle all dislike for French Canadians.
Posted by pythrr on 2013-08-02 01:35:19
also, what would we do without 'surrender monkey'?
Posted by B_SIDE on 2013-08-02 01:46:13
"We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender."
Of this, the only word which originates from the French is "surrender". XD

I gues Im an idiot, because I just clued in that 123C is argueing about something completely different from my points of view. I dont think you are the same page or even te same magazine article. I have nothing against French people. There are tons of Ex-Chinese people here in BC. Actually whites are a minority. That is the truth. Who cares if English is his second lanuage? What is your point? Is it that yoyu cant understand him? I can cleary understand that jibbering fool named pythrr. :P
If I took Television or Movies based on France I would be thinking everyone there are wearinging barrets, and striped shirts. I know from logic that it isn not true. Becasue you have seen Slings and Arrows, kids in the Hall, or the Nature of Things doesnt mean you know anything about Canadian culture.
By the way, in sterio typical fasion I bought a canoe a couple days ago. It floated like a champ
