Simple Solution to ClawPoMB
I am sure many if not most of you out there have watch the NFL. Blocking, passing, catching and intercepting all things that really are included in our game. But what you do not see is players Pilling on unless they are doing something dirty, which is normally met by a flag, and occasionally an ejection. So here is my solution.

Change Piling On from a blocking skill to a fouling skill (remaining a strength skill). It still works the same except on a foul not a block. You may reroll your foul attempt or injury roll if you are placed prone next to the player, but if any of the rolls are doubles (even one your choose to reroll) your player is ejected from the game. Also the skill does stack with sneaky git and dirty player. I am sure many people will utilize the skill, but just in a different way.

This makes the mutation teams a slight bit less powerful (because claw/mb is still an awesome combo) but still effective at combating the Dwarf/Orc teams which I believe was the intent of the claw mutation.

I would definitely make a fouling treeman if this was implemented.....

Out of all the CPOMB changes/suggestions/terrible ideas I've read over the last year or so, this is the only one that I'd be interested in playtesting.

It would make fouling a little more common too, which seems to be a common complaint from some of the old-schoolers.

I like thought a lot and echo dsavillian - I tend to tune out suggestions and rants about it. But I really think this has merit - playtesting would be needed for sure but it seems to really fit thematically is a reasonable nerf while (I imagine though based on no evidence) remaining a 'useful' skill.

I like this one as well. In fact, I would probably just leave it as "Place the player prone to reroll either armor or injury during a foul action." This would allow more flexibility with the skill, without being overpowered IMO. Foulers would still get sent off with enough frequency to keep it from being overpowered.

There's another variation where it's still a blocking skill, but if you roll a double (on the PO reroll) the player is sent off. It's less change to the skill that way.

Koadah, I remember that pile-on too... that was downright dirty. Goose was a baaad man.

Something need to be done, any change would be nice.

but...

there are no orcs on a NFL pitch either (or trees), so I think your analogy sinks there...

Keep it as is and make it a big guy only skill

I (hink it's the best answer ever on this subject, know if you can get the pwers that be to implament it, or anyone to come back and finish what the created and get the bugs out and the bombadiers bombing then life would be better in the fumbbl world and people wouldn't be leaving like the oklahoma dust bowl was upon us.
