Deep in the Underdark, the Spider Queen rattles Her chitinous legs as the minions enter Her sacred halls. Eight males carry the two stretchers on their shoulders, and She can taste the flesh of the corpses in the air. Impatiently, She remains in place as Her high priestess chatters on about how these snacks died to claim victory over some orcs in Her name, and how they were brave, and yadda yadda yadda. Finally, the woman shuts up, and the shrouds are pulled off. She can sees Her delicious treats laid out before Her. She scuttles forward, and brings Her jaws down on the bodies, injecting them with Her saliva for predigestion. Already, She can tell these are better than the usual fare, and She relishes the thought of consuming these snacks as She wraps the bodies in Her silk, leaving them to bloat and ripen as their organs liquify.

Back here on the surface, coach the_Sage is somewhat less happy at this feeding time, as it means that Team of the Spider Queen loses two of its three best players in one game. But at least we won!
