New Big Guy Only League
My new-found interest in Stunty has presented me with a question I want to propose to the community: if we have a league of all stunty teams, why not have a league of all big guy teams? 11 negatrait rolls per turn would be kind of exciting, about 2 guys would be out of action each turn on average. And new rosters would be made, similar to stunty, to make things more bearable. Such as a treeman roster that includes dryads and treekin. Or a Ogre roster that includes all the types of ogres there are. And a troll roster with swamp and rock trolls. And a Cathay based army with dragons. Or giants. Or krox and saurii with salamanders Carnosaurs and stegodons thrown in. Or dark elves riding cold ones and hydras. And the list goes on. Any opinions on the matter?

I play a troll/snotling team often. They're pretty interesting. Managing the Really Stupid rolls, and trying to prevent your little guys getting hammered.
Very hard roster, and a very poor one. However once you get used to it, you might steal the odd win.
With this though, you'd never play with more than 6 Trolls (providing they had really stupid).

unfortunately, it sounds like dwarf vs dwarf games, without runners or block (no block is good!), where everyone happens to be S5 instead of S3.
dwarf vs dwarf games SUCK.
you'd only get much blood if everyone had claws, which simply doesn't fit a LOT of big guys.

I love the idea myself. I played a dwarf vs dwarf game in my League. at the end of one of my turns my opponents entire team was on the floor. I'd say, If I can do that then a team full of big guys easily could.
you'd have to make all big guy rosters not have loner though. otherwise it could be 16 turns of people rolling both down's on each other and nothing happening. (having no loner would fit the fluff too as they aren't alone in a team full of their kind)
of course it would make teams that can get claw played more than teams that couldn't so you'd have to give all of them access to it. or none of them access to it.

Maybe all teams should have between 4-8 big guys (depending on how hard/good they are) and some smaller friends(not necessarily stunty for everyone) - that would give a lot of options for creating varied teams.

for example, dwarf vs dwarf is one of the few matches where you're practically guaranteed at LEAST 110 blocks in the game. But if you get more than 2 cas it's completely shocking.

Well of course it would be boring if it were just 11 trolls vs 11 ogres. I was thinking more along the line of 0-16 trolls and 0-16 ogres with positionals for each team. And if claw were introduced into a team, only a certain number of players would be able to have it, like a max of 2 per team that get mutation access, maybe 4 if its on doubles.

Cool, idea. I'd try it, but the reality is it's not gonna happen until maybe [L] has been revamped & there's no new news on that front that I know of yet.

0-16 Trolls wouldn't work. Even a Troll positional should be Really Stupid, and with no players who aren't Stupid, that means every player has a 4+ to do anything. Also, teams full of AG1 or 2 would make for a lot of scoreless games where the ball hardly moves. You need to mix in some smaller guys...
