Another day, another good match of Blood Bowl. Under Mountain took to the pitch agaist the glittering Bretonnia Knights who were best known for their fiersome core of blitzers! While Under Mountain was best known for this being only their second game. Under Mountain Coaching staff were hard at work fixing up their play book after their previous loss to the Breeland Raiders, and the first thing they corrected was to get Nobbla Blackwart on the field right from the start.

Once again, the whistle blew and Under Mountain scrambled on to the field while yelling at each other to get to their positions. Nobbla Blackwart (who seems to becoming a permanent fixture on the team) took up position behind Troll Wart Slubguts and revved up his saw which also reved up the fans granting them an additional Re-Roll after the kick.

Once the ball hit the turf, Underworld began hitting the Bretonnia Knights, KO'ing #15 Squire John, and bringing the saw to #10 Squire Jason stunning him to the ground. The ball was gathered up by Thrower #4 Reminrot the Beastmaster, and offensive screens were setup to grind their way to the end zone. In response, #11 Squire Jack (seeing his teammate in distress under the saw) stepped up and clotheslined Goblin #12 Zmegat so hard that he chainpushed Nobbla back, and permanently sent poor Zmegat to the bench on a stretcher.

After seeing poor Zmegat's fate, Goblin team mate #14 Gkun lost his head in fear and begain foaming at the mouth while flailing his arms in all directions. In his momentary insanity, he ran head first into Blitzer #1 Sir Tristan the second and managed to flip him up into the air! Afterwhich, he promptly landed on the ground head first, his armour flapped open and he stayed planted that way like a silver flower. He appeared so badly hurt that play needed to be stopped for another stretcher to dig him up and clear him from the field. While on the sidelines, the Knight's apothecary tended to him well enough for him to continue play after the next whistle. Meanwhile, Nobble took his saw to Blitzer #4 Sir Lancelot knocking him to the ground. In what must have been a terrifying experience, Nobbla continued to lay the saw into him while he was on the ground as if trying to perform surgery on the field. #4 Sir Lancelot armour was of no protection but each time the saw cut in it bucked back up into the air before permanent damage occurred.

With a fair amount of the Knights pinned on the opposite side of the field, and Nobbla running amok among them, the Skaven core made a sprint for the endzone. After one scary moment where Runner #6 Sir Loras managed to take himself and ball carrier Thrower #5 Mutable of the Northern Wastes to the pitch, any thought of continuing the stall was abandoned and Thrower #4 Reminrot the Beastmaster scooped up the ball for the handover in the end zone to #5 at the end of turn 5 to make the score 1-0 for Under Mountain!

The Bretonnia Knights took to the field to receive the ball and showed they were knights in name only. Showing little regard for the knights code, they began brawling and fouling so blatantly that the ref was forced to remove Lineman #16 Squire Jeff from the game. Over the course of just two turns, they managed to further fill the casualty box with 7 Under Mountain players. Seeing themselves in good position, they played for the turn 7 stall, which horribly backfired when Goblin #16 Boz blitzed into the cage and POWed the scrawnier Catcher #6 Sir Loras to the ground to free the ball, and badly hurting him in the process. The whistle blew and the half was over with the score still 1-0 in favour of Under Mountain, but with things not looking good.

The second half started, but even with Bloodweiser babe Stephanie serving beer to those players in the KO box, only one of the 4 managed to gain enough courage to take the field again. With a total of 8 players to face off against a full field of 11 furious Bretonnia Knights, coaching staff were pulling out their hair while playbook pages went flying everywhere as they scrambled for a plan. Luckily for them, the fans were incensed by the previous un-knightly play of the Bretonnia players and invaded the pitch to stun three of the players while accidentally trampling Goblin #13 Nobast who had taking to the line of scrimmage with fellow team and troll. Undeterred, the Knights continued to foul and block their way through Under mountain, KO'ing Troll #1 Wart Slubguts and filling the injury box back up to 9 players. Once their were only a meager 5 Under Mountain players on the field, Blitzer #6 Sir Loras was finally directed to score to tie the game at 1-1 where it remained until the final whistle.

Amazingly, all Under Mountain players were able to be patched up enough to make the next game. Further, Thrower #5 Mutable of the Northern Wastes called in some favours, and the next day an almost invisible Skaven wearing a black cloak emerged from the shadows to hand him two small, purple crystalline objects wrapped in ragged cloth. Mutable consumed them and immediately lived up to his name. The next day he emerged from his room by kicking the bedroom door right off the hinges as he showed off his new bulging and veiny muscles. Mutable was certainly new and improved, but would it be enough to finally clinch Under Mountain's first win in their next match?
