In the not too distant future, 12 years ago. Superheroes celebrated their victory against the evil Captain Insaneo. The evil ex wrestler was bested, but in his madness he activated his weapon of last resort, the Interdimensional Transmogrifier! The improbable device ripped all the supers, hero and villain alike, from all dimensions, and deposited them in a strange fantasy world ruled by an even stranger game, Blood Bowl!

The villains decided it would be easier to gain control of this new world by forming teams and winning this strange game. With victory they would gain enough fame and money for world domination! The heroes soon formed teams as well to stop this evil plot. Only time will tell who shall prevail!

RULES

Any new L team may apply. However it must be a comic themed team. It can be from any universe, Marvel, DC, or Indy. Fluff is highly encouraged. Pics and backstories will make your team stand out. Be creative with your teams and try to make your choices make sense. If you have Wolverine for nuffles sake give him Claw!

Leadership

Every good super team has a clear leader. To reflect this one player on your team must get the leader skill. Congrats, that player is now your leader. But what does this all mean you ask? Only one player on your team may have more skill rolls then your leader. If more then one player earns more skill rolls then the leader, one of thoes players must be retired. Furthermore, if a team has no leader then you may not hire or replace positional players. Your team can only buy linemen until a new leader emerges. (the one exception to this rule is that you may hire one and only one specialist, the same class as your leader. For example, your leader is a Blitzer. He gets killed. You may buy another blitzer to replace him, but until someone rolls the leader skill you can only replace with or buy new linemen. Only one leader at a time.

Team Types.

There a 3 different types of teams with different sets of rules. Please specify which type you want upon joining

Hero

The Hero team is a paragon of goodness. It's leader doesn't need to worry that an underling will stab him in the back if they get too powerful, thus Hero teams may have TWO players with more skill rolls then the leader. Yet with great power comes great blah blah blah. Therefore a hero team is limited to only 1 foul per game and may never take a Dirty Player.

Villain

The Villain team is pure evil. They can get a Dirty Player and have no limits on fouls. However their Leader is an unforgiving jerk. If any player (except the Leader or the one player with more skill rolls the Leader) ends a roll double or triple skulls, the leader kills him! That player must be retired at the end of the game, assuming he survives.

Rogue

The Rogue team is caught in the middle. Moody vigilantes or wannabee bad guys. Just one calorie, not evil enough. Rogues can't take Dirty Player, and are limited to 5 fouls per game.

Game Format

Comic book battles are very chaotic, and you never know what's going to happen. To reflect this before each game a d6 will be rolled in chat ( bb d6 ) use the handy Halo Bowl chart bellow to decide how many players will play in each game.

All extra players are subs and must be set up as close to the centre of owning coaches TD area as possible (as shown in the picture below)

<img src="http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/9807/subsdu3.jpg">

A Sub can replace one of your players who has been sent out due to injury or foul. Subs are not aloud to interfere with the game in anyway until activated. They can't take any action, or be blocked. If they put a tz on the ball or an opposing player, the opponent can request they be moved. If one of them ends up with the ball, they can pass or hand off to an active player, or become active themselves so long as one of your active players runs back to take their place. in a 1v1 game the 2 other players on the los must dodge and move back as soon as the active player has moved.
