<b><u>League Structure</u><p></b>
N.A.F.F.L.E. will be composed of two relatively equal-sized conferences, one representing the United States and the other Canada.<br>
Round-robin league play will be held within each conference, the top two teams from each conference then participating in the N.A.F.F.L.E. KO Championship.<br>
For the first season we hope to open with two conferences of at least eight teams each.<p>
<b><u>Deadlines</u><p></b>
Games will be played with a weekly deadline. This is subject to change should it prove too constrictive. <br>
Hopefully the localized player base will make meeting the 7 day deadline much easier as we should all be within 2-3 hours of one another.<br> Arrangements for extensions can be made provided both parties alert one of the league moderators ahead of the deadline.<br>
If the deadline is not met the game will be decided by a coin-toss unless one coach is clearly at fault for the lack of play at which point they will forfeit.
<p>
Forfeiting two games in a row without good cause will see you removed from the league.<p>
With that said please do not apply if you will not make an effort to play all of your assigned games!<br>
Don't ruin it for others!

<b><u>Conference Composition</u><p></b>
We will be using the much-loved Paper/Scissor/Rock/Dynamite approach to assigning races to categories for Conference balance.
The categories are listed below:<p>
Category Rock teams: Dwarf; Chaos Dwarf; Orc; Chaos; Undead; Khemri. <br>
Category Scissors teams: Lizardmen; Necromantic; Norse; Skaven; Nurgle. <br>
Category Paper teams: Dark Elf; High Elf; Wood Elf; Elf; Human; Amazon. <br>
Category Dynamite teams: Ogre, Vampire; Goblin; Halfling.<p>
The maximum number of teams allowed in the Rock and Scissors categories will be 1/4 and 1/3 respectively of the total number of players in the conference, rounded down.<br>
<i>Example: 12 total teams means up to 3 Rock teams, 4 Scissors teams, and any number of Paper or Dynamite teams.</i>
<p>
There must be at least three different races represented in a category before duplicate races may be chosen. <br>
This of course is secondary to the distribution of teams between the categories as highlighted above.

All teams submitted to the N.A.F.F.L.E. should be rookie League teams created after the announcement of the draft. <br>
The teams are meant for N.A.F.F.L.E. play only. </b>

<b><u>The Draft</u> <p></b>
Once the final size of the conferences is established any coaches without pre-existing teams in the league (i.e. everyone for Season One) will PM Sttucker13 with a listing of the LRB4 teams in their order of choice. <br>
<i>Example: Orcs, Dwarf, Elf, Wood Elf, Humans, etc. etc. on down to your least favorite team.</i>
<p>The group moderator will then roll (and post the rolling results) to determine the team assignment order. <br>
You will be assigned your highest available choice in that order and with regards to the required Conference Composition.<br>
<i>Example: If your first choice is Orcs and you get assigned third choice, you will get Orcs so long as the first two coaches did not chose Orcs themselves and there is still an available Rock category slot.</i><br>
The draft results and the IRC logs for the draft rolls will be posted to a forum page once they are completed.<p>

This is mostly to assuage the concerns of some FUMBBL coaches who dislike joining leagues hosted by relatively new coaches.<br>
By having an established FUMBBL player on the moderator staff I believe prospective participants will be less likely to shun the group after viewing my total number of games played. *grin*<br>
If you are interested in performing backup group management duties please send me a PM to that affect. <p>
