A good fun and very close match.

Handicaps were Knuckduesters and a couple of others.

Anyways, the clubbers started in offence but were soon down 0-1 thanks to a blitz by the Guardians who managed to recover the ball and score despite being having 2 players knocked out.

The clubbers replied with their one turner, and both sides exchanged more TDs and badly hurt a lineman.

At 3-3, the Guardians had 1 turn left to score and set up a chain push TD. Just needed a 3+ dodge (with Dodge RR) and then a 2+ dodge (with Dodge RR and team RR) to score. 8/9 chance to make the first dodge, but it was not to be.

Second half the Guardians started with the ball but rolled snake eyes with their pass and conceded a TD.

A few more TDs were exchanged and on the final turn, it was 5-5 and the Guardians were kicking to the clubbers who were lined up for another 1 turn TD. The Guardians kicked deep to ensure there was an extra set of hands on the ball and unfortunately for the clubbers they fumbled (snake eyes) a quick pass in the backfield and it was a draw.

A fun game. Very hard to stop that one turner when I only had 10 and then 9 players on defence. I was lucky to get the blitz in the first half, but then quite unlucky to not get the one turn TD so that kind of evened out.

Second half, I had the unlucky snake eyes on my pass, and my opponent had snakes at the end, so all up it was pretty even in the luck stakes.

Anyways, no harm done to either team and some money too so I am very happy with the outcome heh. Looking forward to a rematch at some stage too.”
