This game was marred by two restarts. Palmed coin and illegal drugs and smelling salts were welcome, but Virrus would have made things very interesting.

The Blight really couldn't make much headway against the faster, more agile elves, and with so much blodge and slodge (sidestep, block, dodge) we struggled to get the elves to the floor. It was also impossible for us to move up the pitch, and the AG5 leapers meant no where was safe.

The heat played a large factor with many of my players missing kickoffs while LS had few players missing. He targetted my ball carriers well and his placement meant I couldn't afford too many dodges to try and get to his.

All in all, a frustrating game but with such a TR difference I shouldn't have been surprised. LS was gracious in victory, and I hope most of my sarcasm didn't offend.

-FF was predicted (1 cas, 0 score) but with two extra players we go into the last game of the season looking for skills and aiming to regain some respect.

Twahnlow votes

#3 - Demonette Nightshade - whatta player. I knew this player would be a handful going into the game, but LS used her brilliantly and she was in the action from word go. She pretty much carried the team in terms of blocks

#2 - Direbringer Duskcreep - for the score, the dodges and for surviving the pounding my Norse dished out. The lack of dodge skill made him a target, but he managed to get through unscathed.

#1 - Twilight Deathmoth - the other +STS4 monster. Almost more annoying for the fact of the sidestep.

Thanks for the game, LS, good luck getting that wildcard entry!

PS. Just to note, Yanovi wasn't given the illegal drugs in this game, it was Inkerman. Still, Yanovi will take the 3 votes :0

I had better than average luck when it really mattered, on the pickups and the vital blocks. Yet again the 'riders inability to cause casualties was amply demonstrated - our only casualty coming from a failed block by a Blight Lineman. Fortunately for me, Pat had not better luck in that department.

3 Points. Yanovi 'Titan' Frostham. A skill set of guard, tackle and jump up made him a nightmare for us. Getting ST4 on the handicap added injury to the insult.
2 Points. Iron Rammstein. The tackle was annoying and he had good reach to put it in places where I least appreciated it.
1 Point. Oldbugmanof Perfectoss. Good ball gatherer.
