“Handbags at dawn received the ball in the first half and promptly got blitzed!
The usually slow undead managed to get someone underneath the ball and get players around that area and things started looking very dark indeed.

I had hired a wizard for the occasion but the plan was to already be in the lead before i unleashed him on the undead second half... a couple of turns of blocking later i called upon his fireball and bashed a big hole in the undead defence and scrambled the ball away. Blitz-1 fireball 2 ;)

My zons then played hard and dirty for the rest of the 1st half and went into stall mode. Have to admit i quite unashamedly fouled, bashed and attempted to crowd surf at every opportunity and my armour rolls were blessed by nuffle.
At the end of the half 6 or 7 undead were in the KO box and there wasnt much of a team left on the field. Unfortunately for me the only permanent injury i did was to the bountied "Vog Marrowsplitter " but was only a BH....

Finally in turn 8 i let Thatcher score.

By the start of the second half all but one of the undead KO's had returned, including the tackle mummy grrrr.

The undead stayed on top for most of the half, slowly whittling down defenders and with the apoth gone in the first half i feared for my Girls... but nevertheless stood them up each turn to try and stubbornly resist the undead drive.

After much lateral movement on the field but little forward gains by the undead i finally put enough pressure on that they had to pass to a free ghoul. Some good blocking/a blitz made the pass pretty easy tho and Mogag Eyesqusher ran in for a well deserved score.

I was relatively happy tho as the pressure i would of been able to exert the next turn made stalling not a good option and gave me 2 more turns to win the game...

With only 2 tacklers on the field (1 of them a mummy) my plan was fairly simple... avoid the tackle wight by charging down the other side and put the mummy in a tackle zone... then trust to blodge to survive the blitz!

I was blessed immediately by a touchback from the kickoff and the super fast Amazon "Legs Akimbo" was given the ball. Quick blitz down the flank opened up enough space for her to run into and the LOS all went down.. sadly my first dodge attempting to bring support through failed meaning my opponant could make an easy 2 dice blitz on the ball carrier without having to make any dodge rolls.

Fortunately tho the god of blodge was on my side and no POW results were rolled despite the reroll.
All that was left was a quick blitz to free Legs Akimbo of tackle zones and she was home free!
