“Finally, sweet sweet revenge has been given to the Blight, although it wasn't poor Ansa who deserved it. Full credit to Ansa who capitalised on the Norse's appalling luck, bloodlust and general ineptitude to go through to the Premier League.
Our first niggle came in the first turn, not to one of the contractor's the Blight had brought in but to a permanent player. The Blight decided that attack was the best course of action, seeing as their contract was up and they'd had enough of getting pummelled for a living. Ansa's apoth was drunk on the job and Buzzbee paid for it after getting stepped on by Geeloordi.
Ansa naturally fought back and KO'd and hit our boys as best he could. He got over the line in the end, 1-0 in the first Half. Oh, and it looked like OB would continue his fumbling ways, spilling a CP to go no closer to the hall of fame.
2nd half and the Norse moved up the field, stalled by a tough CD defense. OB tried to dodge around, only to fall over. The CDs converged on the ball and started removing Norsemen again.
So, the CDs were close to scoring and OB finally made it back on his feet. Had had no chance of scoring, so decided to go back to his Norse heritage and do some bashing! Seeing Pop! out by himself, OB called in a support by one of the contractors and slammed into the happless Hobgoblin, putting a great dent in his armour. OB had made it into the Halls of Fame! He could now retire with lucrative product endorsement contracts, along with his disability pension.
The carnage wasn't over though, with Nufflekoff kicking in with a massive hit on Toucan Sam, ending his career.
All in all, a satisfying last game for the Blight, who will happily give what armour they had to charity and retire.

#2 - Sonny the Cuckoo Bird - before he was fouled, Sonny was having a blistering game, with two casualties from 3 blocks.
#1 - Count Chocula - the other Centaur monster. Not as strong, but slightly more agile and a better ball carrier. Expecting big things.
