“SWL Season XXVIII - Gone's Slipper Conference League XXVIII - Round 3

The first half saw a quick touchdown by the Ancients who surprised the girls with their speed. Fortunatly, such a quick touchdown left plenty of time to attempt an equaliser, and, taking control of the ball early, that's just what we did. We managed to avoid inflicting any really nasty injuries on the Ancients (hopefully that will give them a shot at tripping up their later opponents), and were able to score comfortably in turn 8.

Half time score: 1-1

Coming into the second half, both coaches were surprised to be fielding a full eleven players! Receiving, we managed to get a hold of the ball early, but some brilliant defensive work saw a complete loss of control of the ball. Corbse Viper took the ball almost from one end of the pitch to the other, but as time ran out he (and his teammates) were swamped by dodging orks, preventing him from taking in a touchdown.

Final score: 1-1
