Rivalry is a word that is not lost in the teachings of the Holy Q'uran al'humdila'allah and again the vile beastman hordes of Morte Volente may just be that after a close encounter last season saw us win narrowly.

Today, during the Holy Eid al Adhar, we sacrificed our finest goat as per the traditions and a third was passed on to our rivals for their honour. Whilst we consumed our third and gave the third to the Green Crescent for the charitable work, Mort Volente were not impressed that we appeared to be offerring them a brother goat for the feast.

Enraged, the Coach of Mort Volente stormed from the Maglis and demanded to be challenged on the pitch.

We of course could not refuse and suddenly the match was on with little fanfare. With ball in hand, we matched the Chaos horde and scored not long before the half as the heavens opened.

The rest of the game was played defensively, as new Morte Volente recruit Lewdgrip Whiparm created a speedier offence for the Chaos who threatened to go deep in each of their drives.

With only a quarter of time remaining, the Chaos did equalise but with their forces reduced and the luck of Allah - al'humdila'allah - leaving them, we were able to run in a solid score on the bell and take the match.

Perhaps, if they had eaten the goat, maybe they would have had more energy!
