“My team bashed hard (uncharacteristic for them), and both my Krox (16SPP) and Rough (177 SPP) skilled on the cas they caused. While C3I2 chose an apo and a babe over a wiz, he didn't use the apos on any of his 3 important BHs, or on the kill of his niggler, so he had 2 apos, and I had most of the field to myself.

The first half I mostly played a solid lizard drive, though the abundance of sidestep did get in the way, and forced some not-quite-safe plays in the last two turns. In the second half I pressed, stole the ball, but then gave a TD away attempting a handoff to Scaly, which was followed by multiple bad bounces, allowing the elves to take it back. The third drive, I also failed to score due to making two failed handoff attempts. While it didn't result in an elf TD, the 3 failed handoffs turned what could have been 3-0 into 1-1. Well, as my team bio says: I knew what I signed up for.

It is fitting that C3I2 played this team in its last game without piling on.”
