When Mr. Swan has urged Carlton's fans to get down to the Draught Dome to support their struggling club, he never dreamed they'd give anything like the level of support that they did in this classic match up between our beloved Men and these Foul Orcs.

Carlton kicked off in what could only be described as a swelteringly hot day and before the ball had even hit the ground a horde of drunken supporters flooded onto the field to 'welcome' the visitors. With several of the Scumbags stunned and generally knocked around by the welcoming wagon, Carlton were easily able to gain a strong position near their endzone. They kept the Orcs occupied in a pitched battle as they waited out the rest of the half, scoring just before the period.

The second half began with Carlton once again seeming to be in not too much of a hurry to score. The Orcs put on some pressure though and it wasn't long before the United hand was played. 2-0 Carlton.

The Heat was really starting to affect both teams players at this stage and, despite a relatively peaceful game with no casualties at this stage, neither were able to field a full squad.
The Orcs surged forward in a somewhat clumsy manner as their rookie thrower lost sight of the ball for a moment, fumbling in the backfield. Play opened up with some fancy passing from both sides and the ball flew up and down the field several times before ending up in the hands of Way Nee the Goblin, who scampered into the zone to score.

Time was almost gone and the Scumbags has one more chance to score, albeit a slim one. This one chance was to be made even slimmer as the 'welcoming wagon' once again took to the field, this time to 'congratulate' the Greenskins with a hearty slap on the back (of their heads mainly).
With most of the Scumbags occupied with their new friends, Duke and the gang were once again able to race an easy score home, putting the game beyond even the most fanatic Orc fan's hopes.

Carlton are more than relieved to have won this match, they're first league victory in over a season, and to have won it in such able fashion. Are things looking up for everyone's favourite club?

Good game Whitey. Good spirits under great adversity, thank you.
You got a bit jiped with those thee kick offs. Two PIs with 11 casualties in total! Never seen the like... :)
You deserved it though, so it's all good!
