“A bloody violent game both on and off the pitch, with two deaths, two riots, a pitch invasion and a broken jaw. The Dark Elves took an early lead in turn 3, after knocking Thrower Fling-fling into the casualty box despite the apothecary's best efforts. To add insult to injury, Blitzer Creep-Cut tripped on his own tail, breaking his neck while dodging away for a potentially game saving blitz against a dark elf ball carrier. More-over, for this spectacular (and embarrassing) death he was awarded MVP despite this honour more appropriately going to Warty the troll. Half-way through the second half, Warty threw team-mate Dribbla from the very edge of the touchline and permitted the goblin to run in and score the equaliser. All this despite having had a second player -the luckless Pick-Pick, killed before the end of the first half.

With just eight players for the whole second half, the Skarr's finally managed to remove two DE players from the pitch. Their spirited defence wasn't enough. The DE team scoring the winning TD with plenty of room to spare in the dying seconds of the half.”
