“What a difference a match (and a better set of block dice) make. After a feeble loss against a rookie Wood Elf side it is fair to say Spetic Isle approached an evenly matched game with some trepidation.
Receiving, Septic Isle's drive was thrown into chaos after a ptich invasion left half of each side down. Ball deep in their own endzone things looked somewhat shady until some decent blocking removed the Ogre and steadily KOed the remaining humans allowing the ball to be safely caged. Despite attempting to fluff the TD the Nurglites went in 1-0 at the half.
Able to field 11 G-WIL-H set about their counter attack. However, a camoflaged Pestigor saw the attack stumble and continued good blocking from Septic Isle, coupled with a trapped pocket of humans beaten up and pushed into the crowd forced the humans into a risky break. With typically poor dice the break failed and through sheer weight of numbers Septic Isle recoved the ball to make it two on the full time whistle.
Exactly how the match was supposed to go - if only that was down to skill!”
